You handled not having a lot of your classroom items with such grace! I'm sure there were tears behind the scenes, but I think a lot of people could take a page out of your book.
It's always a good morning when you wake up to a Mayleen video! Can't wait to see what you did for the first week of school this year. I start the 22nd so I am dying to see what you did differently/the same this year, so I can steal all your fantastic new ideas. 😂 So glad things are working out for you and you love the school so far.
I actually have one of those same neck fans have in green! You’re right! It’s absolutely fabulous! I usually have to keep it on the highest setting, though. I live in Arkansas, so it gets extremely hot! Plus, I have my own decluttering/organization business, so that fan comes in handy when I’m out in garages or up in attics ha ha.
Here's to hoping you get your missing classroom items. I'm sure it adds another layer of stress. I just bought a neck fan that I'm hoping to use at dismissal at the beginning of the year when it's still so hot.
Another year, another classroom set-up! Like you, I too have had to set up a new room every year and this year I also am in the smallest room I've ever had! I can't wait to see how this room turns out but I just know it'll be great! :)
🌺You’re a True Trooper! Taking all these curveballs with such grace and a positive attitude! Just know that you are ENOUGH and already off to a great stat with unpacking and setting up what you do have. 💕Relieved to know that you eventually did get the rest of your items!! You got this! 🥰
I'm so excited to see you setting up your classroom. Glad to hear you received your other items. Looking forward to the rest of your set up, great inspiration!!😊🌼🍃🌿
I'm a first grade teacher too in Vegas. It's my first year and want to have a lot of fun tools like you do. But yes, teacher prep takes sooooo long outside of school hours. It took me about 26 hours of me making my own decorations, such as routine, nametags, birthdays, rule posters, etc because my classroom is Pokemon theme. I would love to make my own activities that are interactive for centers and such. Anyways, would love to know in how you took the steps to make your things.
Nice work getting started in setup! Did you come into a fairly empty classroom (but with furniture)? I moved classrooms and mine was full of different things, all which had to be gone through and sorted. It was a long process with highs and lows. Everything is still not done, but closer. Good luck this year!

I prayed so hard you got your stuff! So glad you got a good chunk of it. The military will find it.

I love the color of your classroom walls!

The wall colors 😍😍
I am so excited to see you have at least some of your stuff. I bet that was way more stressful than you are showing on social media. You got this!
It’s the worst that so many of your things are missing! I had to pack up my classroom stuff in June and the idea of losing it gives me shivers!!!😱

I love your classroom setup videos!
It’s a lot of work to get a classroom set up especially if ur painting and it’s a new classroom
I’m jealous of these videos because I don’t have a classroom 😭
That is a beautiful classroom-nice job with the painting
Where did you get those small envelope like with Velcro
To store small read aloud pieces
They look the perfect size!

Love your videos! And I follow on IG so I’m glad the first week went well 🥰
What do you use to make your thumbnails? I always love how it looks. 😍
It boggles my mind how much teachers supply themselves in their rooms in the USA.
I would like to know where you got the neck fan…..
