@@MrsCallsCampers can you tell I am a high school science teacher I don’t know authors. I use that book for making predictions for lab investigations. Even high school students love it. I also use the True Story of the Three Little Pigs to demonstrate bias and it influences one inference in science. I love to do read aloud too. I guess I am a bit if an elementary teacher at heart. Thank you for your inspiration this year your resilience has inspired me to persevere as I enter my 30th year. 🥰

I'm so glad you got the book and the stencils! That book is a fun one! My instagram / social media handles started from being a club promoter here in Vegas during my college breaks. I was being very tongue in cheek about it. I then started hitting up the local clubs here in Vegas, and I never wanted to change it. I now do stand up comedy, so I guess I am still in a club, right?
I’m curious about the backpack hook situation. Do they not put their backpacks in the hallway? And if they are meant to be in the classroom why wasn’t that there already from last year? or was it something you wanted? it doesn’t really matter I guess I’m just nosy 😂 I teach preschool and I hate having cubbies in my room, but I have to. I would love that space for something else!
Haha okay so no as a school they don't go in the halls! My room was a workroom before so no teacher was in it - we are a newer school. I do have hooks now and they should go up tomorrow at least!!!
Since you literally have no storage in your classroom, is there a storage closet for each grade level? You’ve done a great job. I’ve never a classroom with less storage space.
We have a workroom that's just like a room and we use it to put extra stuff in.... :) but if a new first grade teacher gets added we have it move it out haha
When many eyes are upon you leading to your discomfort, redirect that info as it will SERVE you the same way your group should with eyes AND ears. No courtroom...SCHOOLROOM! 😎
