Today I did some custom fabrication work on my car which consisted of welding in the trunk along with adding some supports to my rwd rear wheel drive V8 Honda Prelude.
We previously took out a crucial part of the frame to fit the rear axle in place so I have been thinking of different ways to ensure that I add enough strength back to the car in the most ideals spots.
We also are starting to fab up some metal to enclose the trunk and separate it from the inside of the car.

I am so impressed. This generation prelude is by far my favorite car. (Was my first car) A rear wheel drive specimen is going to be 🤯🤯

It's moving in the right direction. That's all that matters in these types of projects. Keep on keeping on. Some progress is better than no progress. Have you decided what your going to do for brakes, etc? Should be able to get some lines measured put and start prepping for them. You have plenty of things you can start fiddling with. Your have to focus on the whole of the project, I know motor makes it move but there's alot of work left to do.

Yes you are 100% correct. I gotta sit down and plan the rest of the project so I can get organized. It'll make things go quicker.

I'm surprised you don't like welding! I think that I'd love to be able to do that... Maybe it sucks, but I can't imagine that lol... Now the prep work and clean up, yes! Also yeah, I totally do that, get all set up and forget the one thing I need like power, a blade, drill bit, whatever.
Great progress though man, and congrats on the huge bump in subscribers! You'll be doing donuts in the SendLude before you know it!

Haha I hope you're right! I want to burn some rubber in this thing! Yeah welding is cool but the process sucks for me. It's much of what you said.

Im loving these videos! Also i have a quick question because im a bit stuck at the moment. I have this automatic 97 prelude. The transmission is failing(obv) and the engine itself is starting to die. I want to swap the tranny to manual but would it be worth it at the end? Or would i be spending alot to revive this lude. Also keep it up on the videos! :D
