So fun fact in Nordic countries having a roll out garbage under the sink is just the norm lol so wild to see someone getting excited over it ♥

Not only in Nordic countries... Everywhere in Europe I think.
They are the norm in Australia as well.

I just spent hours in ikea the other day looking at a lot of things, it's amazing how much one still can miss ☺️

I thought the same thing. And the plug outlet protectors are called Patrol and Avoid. :-D IKEA product names are clever when translated!
I have those ikea pull out bins, but not for trash and recycling. I use them for pet food bins! I took a shelf out of my kitchen island, and these luckily fit perfectly.
The cooling mattress is actually interesting
I have the roll out frame with the larger garbage bin it. Love it. I have the smaller ones just loose - one for compost, one for recycling.

I wish you could like and dislike videos because I love the IKEA videos but I don’t have one that is within an hour of me. All of the IKEA stores that we have in our general facility are at least minimum three hours away granite when I drive from Texas to Tennessee. Yes I stop at the IKEA store in Memphis we make it a point to go to the IKEA store. Now, as far as your video goes everything that you showed us those are really cool and neat products because a lot going to IKEA. We’re not thinking about those type of products so we’re just looking at the big ticket items so displaying those and showcasing them for us is a really good deal thank you. I appreciate that. I appreciate that

I have those pegboard drawer organizers. Love them! I learned to assemble them and design ur layout on the counter, then place them in the drawer. Saves u from leaning over and adjusting the pegs while u figure out what u want to do. 🙃😉
I bring nightlights like the ones you showed when we travel. They are great for hotel bathrooms or unfamiliar spaces like an Airbnb!

I like the drawer inserts but find most of them only fit the IKEA cabinets which is a pity as it makes them useless for other kitchen sized drawers.
Yah, the induction top is back. I want one for our camper. Update. I did get the induction unit. Haven't used it for the camper yet. I have been using it. Mostly to boil water. It boils so much faster.

Actually in IKEA Canada the price for the recycling solution, with pull-out/ light gray , 20l (5 gallon) is $ 70.98 regular price. $ 61.98 on sale

I could see using the toy bins for craft supplies. Use dividers or bins. Use them as a base for other storage.
The nearest IKEA is a 2-hour drive for me, but thanks for the vicarious tour. 🙂

Ikea has open new store in Timisoara second city from Romania and offer 400 euro salary at month 😂 and they hope will find people accept this in a area were minimum salary are up 600 euros.

That to funny! We just walked in the door frome Ikea and now I'm back at Ikea with you YAY! We are fortunate enough to have 2 Ikea"s in our area and both are about 9 miles in either direction from my home.
IKEA has gotten soooo expensive!! I bought a queen bed from 3 years ago for $250 and now the same frame is $500 😱 But it’s good to see there are still some good deals and hidden gems!!
I just noticed that! Was looking to repurchase an item and went down the rabbit hole of looking at other things I bought and everything was 50-75% more
Blame inflation and the Covid lockdowns.
My guess is that shipping has gone up this season. The good news is that if you consider secondhand listings, you can still get affordable IKEA items locally. I just bought a black table from a guy who was switching his colour scheme to white.
@@FurnitureFan I bought two of their sofas second hand from a private seller and they were in really good condition.
Everything has gone up in the last couple of years, shipping costs have almost doubled so I imagine that is one reason why.

In my country pick-up at Ikea is *not* free. I would have to pay ~10-20$ depending on the amount of stuff I order.

In Ireland we can click & collect free from IKEA stores.
They do charge €3 for pick up at local stores instead. Still, who doesn't enjoy visiting IKEA? 😊

Ohhh sigh... I so miss Ikea here in Mexico. There's one in Mexico City, but it's like 6 hours away from me, too lazy. But those were some good picks, just love all these obscure but useful items!

I’m definitely going to check out the mattress cooling pad. Maybe I could find a thicker pad to accompany it to make my older mattress cushier 😅. I’m so fortunate to have an IKEA store about 5 minutes from my home 😊

On my goodness. They still sell the red moose at IKEA. I bought that for my grandson when he was little. He’s now eleven will be twelve this year. He loved that thing. I may have to buy one for my great grandson after he is born. There isn’t an IKEA close to me now. I love to just walk through the store and see what I can find.
Yes, the rocking moose is actually called "Ekorre" (Squirrel) for some reason, maybe they used up all variants of elk or moose on other products... 🤣
I haven’t been to IKEA since before the pandemic. I have been planning to go and this video makes me want to go right now. I can especially make use of the stackers for shoes and the nightlights.

I have that bathrobe and love it!
My en suite bathroom has SO much light all day, I don't need to use the big light. But if I get up in the middle of the night, I don't want to put on the big light, as it will wake me up too much and make it hard for me to fall back asleep. That's why I use those little night lights, and essentially... I almost never turn on the bathroom light in there anymore, and I've had that light in the socket constantly for over two years! I also put one in the big bathroom (which gets almost no natural light), but it is also great at night for guests. I have a spare pair of those lights, just in case one of them stops working. But like I said... over two years and still going strong, plugged in 24/7!

The nightlights - so cool. I wish my Ikea store was accessible by bus (public transportation), but unfortunately it is only accessible by car and I don't drive, no bus route to get to the store's location. The items are probably too small to order online.

There were so many things that I saw that you showed that would be great for my mother in her retirement home apartment. The nightlights, the door stoppers, the garbage and recycling bin were such good ideas. The bathrobe is nice too, lightweight but soft. Thanks!
