Being a first responder in the industry for over 35 years I have seen couplings fail in many different ways and I'm sure your coupling will last a long time but the main problem that will eventually be experienced is your o-ring deterioration overtime. This is why your non-O ring competitors like Lyco-fit is the gold standard in the gas industry ( the only one we have ever seen fail was due to improper installation and as a matter of fact that one was not leaking even though it was improperly installed).
