yeah this is definitely true for valorant players who start playing cs, but if you play cs for long enough you dont need the kill sound as much. After not playing for a year or so coming back to cs it definitely felt weird without it
As a CSGO player myself, here is my opinion (Not hating u or any other player) In 2021 I really enjoyed playing csgo and competitive BUT, after wasting 4700h of my life in this 2 years, I honestly got mental problems by over-playing csgo, and now I even hate to play csgo now, I don't see it as a "Game" anymore, I just see it as smth to make money and investment (I currently have 15k usd inventory as a 19 yo guy) after awhile I wanted to try out VALORANT to see if I can experience smth "different" but no... Valorant might be a good game, but Valorant itself still reminds me of my mental problems that csgo gave me In the end, they both are same bad OR good shit, but it's just depends on ur mood
You completely ignore the main issue with anti-cheat that has kernel level access. The main issue isn't about not trusting them to not do anything shady... Viruses and hackers will leverage anything they can. If a game is popular and considering how gaming has boomed during the last 2 years... Finding a backdoor or an exploit in the most popular game's anti-cheat that has kernel access on millions PCs would be amazing (not for you as a user, lol).

What I don't understand about Valorant is the reset of mmr after the season. A week or two after that is a horribly unbalanced game, like when you lose rank in csgo. Also the cheat section is bullshit in my opinion, there are tons of cheats on the net and until Vali has a demo system you can't even tell. A lot of people got banned unfairly because they had no way to check it.
i have 127h in CSGO and over 1000h in VALORANT and have to say that you're right. CS is better in most aspects. I do think that as a new game Valorant has grown fast and has the potential to be the better game one day but i think it shouldn't. both should be equal and players shouldn't fight over the games. The only thing i think you didn't mention was that in Valorant the easier gunplay and faster spray resets makes it easier to get crazy multikills. It's not as hard as in CSGO but that makes it happen more often and makes eSports more entertaining.
Aside from aesthetics (something that is highly subjective), I just hate Valorant's skin buying system. I mean, if you want to sell dragon operator for 50 usd I'm ok with that but at least let me buy it whenever the hell i want!
I would rather burn 40 dollars on a knife that looks like a crazy vampire karambit (when you buy a pack of stickers irl do u buy it to invest?) instead of "Investing" 500 for the same thing without the vampire effect.. If you wanna invest start a bussiness, invest in stocks..
anticheat: That's straight up a lie. Valorant does NOT tell you when they ban a cheater, only if you are 1- Mid match 2- Logged in 3- Not in the middle of a match 4- Haven't closed the game after reporting I know that bc i usually wait 20min~2h with the game open after reporting someone, and they usually get banned. Already got 7 cheaters banned like that while being gold, you're straight up lying lol Oh, and there is another thing. Valorant anticheat uses ban wave system, so cheaters reported go to a queue. Only mid match bans are manual bans and obvious things like spinbotting, Aimlock + Triggerbot and wild combinations. Some brazilian cheaters already said that you get banned more for being reported than for the cheats itself, lol.
Valorant loses on gunplay instantly with random spray patters.. no competitive shooter should have a randomized spray… and the maps… cs maps blow Val maps out of the water.
I don't think that matchmaking goes to valorant. Valorant has good features with rank system, but overall matchmaking is the same. The difference are maps/utility/agents for both games. In csgo rank means nothing, solely because game is for so long that players have outperformed matchmaking. Global means nothing, as well as faceit elo will mean nothing in a few years. People just outperformed any ranks, because game is for so long, valve would have to keep changing rank system every few years for it to work. Compare early CSGO pro scene to actual CSGO pro scene. It was messy, even though players already had great aim, because of their skill in previous cs games. Compare old global elite matchmaking to today's global elite matchmaking. Compare old silver/gold nova games to today's silver/gold nova games. Old CSGO global is gold nowadays. The simpler the game, the greater skill ceilling, become. Look at chess, look at CSGO, look at any arena shoter that had pro scenes/tournaments. It's the same for TF2. Today's MGE in TF2 is crazy. Imagine showing it to old TF2 players, they wouldn't believe how people adapted to the game. It will be the same for valorant at this point. High elo faceit player would wreck 50kills on globals. For valorant it will take much longer to be at the point where CSGO is solely, because of abilities and not be able to queue map that favors your agent.
One thing in Movement, Valorant has agents for that, for example Neon is playing with hopping and stuff, Raze has satchel, Jett has dash. I think It's more unique.
Idk I feel like valorant Akins are way better cause even though there is much less to customize and your money gets burned away, they just look so much better
That's your personal preference. Far more, the skins of both game can't be compared since beginning. But CS GO fans just take "you can't sell your skin" and looks down the Val skins though.
Kernel access AC is perhaps the dumbest software I've seen in my life. The restrictions it enforces just to ensure you won't run the game in a vm are disgusting. Any technical person downright despises anything that straight up infiltrates your kernel. On top of that it makes the game completely unplayable on anything but windows. If I had to guess why valve doesn't do it it's because they are way more involved in the Linux community, evidence being proton and how the steam deck runs arch. Giving over access to your kernel is a huge thing, I don't think it should ever be as simple as "it's worth it". All it takes is a single bad buffer write and your entire PC's data is for sale. Don't be ignorant, require more transparency from anything that has that much power over your online life.
this take is 100% fair. if you dont wanna download a game that requires your kernel access then dont lol. For me, a chronically online gamer, it's worth it in my eyes for fair games, but if you dont wanna give up your privacy then dont
@@thugCS The point had more to do with whether a game requiring kernel access should even be acceptable when most people don't even know what it means.
It really depends on what exactly you're doing with this specific machine. Like, for example, I have a PC on Windows, deliberately dedicated for playing videogames and watching movies. For everything else I use either laptop with Linux or tablet on Android. So, I'm absolutely fine with game companies doing on my PC whatever they want with all the information they can find there (because there is nothing important there). But if you use a particular machine not only as a device for entertainment, then this might be a problem, yes. I think such anti-cheat protection is ok, but it should be voluntary. And there should be two different lobbies, for those who installed it, and for those who did not.
No way you gave CS:GO a movement point and valo didn't get. The community servers are not about competitive lol (i'm saying that as a person who spent 100s of hours on surf/bhop) and bhop is almost useless in competitive, while valorant has an included in the game Raze, Neon, Omen, Jett whos movement is used in real games and you can do sick stuff. No way you didn't hear about Flights being one of the most popular valorant YT-bers having millions of views on videos with Raze movement. Learning Raze movement is much harder than any movement in competitive CS (expect some useless jumps). Also you didn't tell about one-trick stuff like Grim sage-walls and other stuff which is not too rare on high ranks and plays it's role in community and game. I'm not saying CS:GO or Valo is better (I have ton of time in both), but this review didn't tell about important valo advantages.
That's just completely different, they were definitely talking about the base movement, and csgo clears EASILY. But it's not fair to talk about agent abilities because only certain agents (raze and neon and a few) have them, other than that cs just takes it.
@@niceuuuuuu video is clearly named "Valorant vs CSGO Comparison" and we just gonna ignore the biggest difference between valo and cs in abilities? Yeah, take all the abilities from valo and it loses to cs easily of course lol. What's even the point of this category then? "Comparing base movement" much less people in cs know how to do something harder than jumping from mirage window to short than people who use some sort of movement with abilities in valo, and it's not only abilities, for example cs doesn't have zip lines around which there is movement too, jumping on split box on mid in the past and other jumps which require some skill too. Bhop is useless in both games. It would be okay if both games got a point or didn't but really, I don't think this guy was doing anything in valo rather then try Harding some reyna/jett (my bold guess).
@@Zend404 If I take your logic then I would say overwatch and apex have better movement than csgo because they are much more dynamic... but no. The source engine has movement mechanics that feel so refined and fluid that it just feels satisfying to walk around and hop while strafing in the air, can't say the same for val unfortunately. Also no bhopping isn't useless it literally gives u a movement boost and makes ur jumps longer, can't exactly say the same for val.
@@niceuuuuuu almost no one can bhop in cs the way where it gives you real boost consistently. There are some videos about how actually hard It is not to pretend but really get advantage using it. I get your point as I think that source movement is satisfying with long jumps, I've spent myself 100s of hours on bhop, surf etc. But in cs it has nothing to do with competitive games (which we are comparing, if not - why we don't talk about even valorant garbage modes or any other sh1t that is obviously not related?) I see some randoms on Faceit pretend like they're bhoping after they watched some garbage like zuhn, but they slow themselves more then do anything good and it's pathetic. Check the pro cs scene, no one uses movement outside of some jumps, while in valo pro scene movement literally used for example with jett full dash then updraft + knives. Nothing like that is possible in cs. Same with raze. Least skill level shared omen and neon plays. Without the abilities movement in real matches for 99% of people is the same for both games, but with valo abilities it opens it for least skilled. Cs and valo are not as static in movement as R6, but both as far from apex. But valo is closer to let's say overwatch, then cs, so I don't get how cs can get a point for movement and valo not. I can accept the tie or valo 1:0, but not the opposite lol. (Just my opinion)
@@niceuuuuuu and yes, apex has significantly better movement than cs, if you can't accept even that then where is 0 point to continue this conversation (btw also made on source modification lol)
I've played a bit of Valorant, but I don't know, one-taps and generally just killing enemies feels far more rewarding on CS than it does on Valorant, because, in my humble opinion, weapon handling on CS is way more difficult to learn than on Valorant, so, naturally, such kills feel far more rewarding. For me personally, Valorant is a game I only play with friends if it comes down to that. CS:GO is something that I take more seriously and play competetively.
i love how ppl be writin "oh how nice to see someone compare those games without one of them bein thier favorite" but for me u are clearly a valorant lover ong (which is obv nothing bad). But giving point to both on shooting is just trollface. If both games headshots feels good which i can agree to. Then point should go to csgo. Only due to full auto which is just random in val, and if valorant is competetive game randomized base mechanics like full auto is the worst thing that could happend to fps. Also unpopular take, Valorant engine is trash, for the goofy artwork it have, game should run like a dream, but it doesnt. I have more fps in csgo2 (my friend got acces like two days ago so i was able to test) than in valorant. Its not even the worst comperation, i have 20fps more in CoD 2019 SnD than in valorant, which should speak for itself. When im doing entry on side as a raze and there is for example viper utilites on it already and for example there is enemy kj trying to counter us. My fps goes -70 from the base which is just crazy to think about when u look at this game. Valorant looks like roblox with worse physics engine and still is able to get 20fps less than CoD 2019, This is just crazy man. Im not sayin that Valorant is a bad game, cuz i enjoy it sometimes but i just cant get over how shallow valorant mechanics are due to poor engine (movement and shooting which are the most important things in fps game) and how bad optimilized this game is.
@@KlutchDj yea man, im not saying that valorant is bad, its mid for me. And good for most of players but that doesnt chage the fact from an objective point of view that base game is executed poorly and rng factor just sucks cuz there is no way to improve on full auto due to fact that u cant learn it. And in case of shooting mechanics csgo does it way better, which was my whole point.

yeah this is definitely true for valorant players who start playing cs, but if you play cs for long enough you dont need the kill sound as much. After not playing for a year or so coming back to cs it definitely felt weird without it
i mean, the iconic DING of a helmet headshot or the squeezing sponge sound on naked headshot is good enaugh in CS

As a CSGO player myself, here is my opinion (Not hating u or any other player)
In 2021 I really enjoyed playing csgo and competitive BUT, after wasting 4700h of my life in this 2 years, I honestly got mental problems by over-playing csgo, and now I even hate to play csgo now, I don't see it as a "Game" anymore, I just see it as smth to make money and investment (I currently have 15k usd inventory as a 19 yo guy) after awhile I wanted to try out VALORANT to see if I can experience smth "different" but no... Valorant might be a good game, but Valorant itself still reminds me of my mental problems that csgo gave me
In the end, they both are same bad OR good shit, but it's just depends on ur mood
THUG NASTY BE NASTY WIT IT!!! W you
I have never agreed with one of these videos more
can someone give me link to video where he reacted to it?

It's not as hard as in CSGO but that makes it happen more often and makes eSports more entertaining.
i really love csgo because i can kill my teamnate
what about optimizations? sounds? abilities/granates?

Aside from aesthetics (something that is highly subjective), I just hate Valorant's skin buying system. I mean, if you want to sell dragon operator for 50 usd I'm ok with that but at least let me buy it whenever the hell i want!
Hello , Imo learning recoil patterns is so shit in cs cus every one will spray not trying to hit 1 taps so thats why i think valorant deserves point

anticheat:
That's straight up a lie. Valorant does NOT tell you when they ban a cheater, only if you are
1- Mid match
2- Logged in
3- Not in the middle of a match
4- Haven't closed the game after reporting
I know that bc i usually wait 20min~2h with the game open after reporting someone, and they usually get banned.
Already got 7 cheaters banned like that while being gold, you're straight up lying lol
Oh, and there is another thing. Valorant anticheat uses ban wave system, so cheaters reported go to a queue.
Only mid match bans are manual bans and obvious things like spinbotting, Aimlock + Triggerbot and wild combinations.
Some brazilian cheaters already said that you get banned more for being reported than for the cheats itself, lol.
best opinion until now i see , but the anticheat is still shit i escape from that i would prefer not to play than this change
Ayo, did I miss something or why did you give CSGO 2 points for skins?
why did you give csgo 2 points for skins??? val- map quality, mmr, anti cheat , gun play; csgo- map quality, skins, movement, gun play
nah valo matchmaking sucks as well, cannot do anything about opposing smurfing jett dropping a 40 every second game I play
One thing in Movement, Valorant has agents for that, for example Neon is playing with hopping and stuff, Raze has satchel, Jett has dash. I think It's more unique.

Idk I feel like valorant Akins are way better cause even though there is much less to customize and your money gets burned away, they just look so much better
its personal preference
That's your personal preference. Far more, the skins of both game can't be compared since beginning. But CS GO fans just take "you can't sell your skin" and looks down the Val skins though.
u forgot the communities and i think even without this, for me, valoarant is always gonna win

@@Langermar Let's hope valve's new alternative is good enough.
CS skins arent better. the system is better. the quality is worse
if you are playing in cs:go against cheaters you have problem with mrr (just saying)

CS:GO is something that I take more seriously and play competetively.

riot is like 40% ccp, so krnl lv access is scary
i love how ppl be writin "oh how nice to see someone compare those games without one of them bein thier favorite" but for me u are clearly a valorant lover ong (which is obv nothing bad). Im not sayin that Valorant is a bad game, cuz i enjoy it sometimes but i just cant get over how shallow valorant mechanics are due to poor engine (movement and shooting which are the most important things in fps game) and how bad optimilized this game is.
the way i see it, if you can improve on aiming on both games, then there is nothing to compare hence both being good
