Recently started playing WoW for the first time and decided to catch up on a lot of the lore. This series has by far been the best way to learn about the lore without feeling overwhelmed by all the little details. Thanks for making these!
I've listened to some lore between when I last played (Wrath of the Lich King) and now that I've started playing again after a 10 year break, but there's been more holes in a few expansions than others (Cataclysm and Legion in particular) when it comes to lore. This helped fill some of that in. Good work again, dude.
I don't even play WoW, but you are doing an amazing thing. I just wanted that nostalgia and searched for Warcraft 1,2,3 stories and got hooked up. I cant believe you have only 1k subscribers. for real, the amount of work you must put into these videos. Really love your work man.
I never played WoW, but i like the lore of that universe. And since I was to lazy to read all wowwiki (and, to be honest, it's huge amount of informations), these videos are great to catch up with everything that happened since WC3
I just started playing WoW at the urging of a very good friend who's been into the lore since classic. I'm so excited to be playing this amazing game and these videos help SO MUCH with all that I missed. I love the game regardless of how much I understand but it makes it so much better when I actually know what all these dudes are rambling on about when they talk about the war of the ancients and the effects of the cataclysm. it's pretty nuts how the world is just- on the brink of destruction by the end. by the final dugeons/Dragon Soul raid, it definitely felt like Deathwing had the upper hand.
The one who stopped Moira was Varian himself with a squad of assasins, when Varian was gonna kill Moira Anduin stopped him with words and Varian accessed, but he told her to do a counsil of the 3 hammers
Using the Hearthstone Explorers League Intro for something you habe to explore as well as you didnt play it is genius. Also its a great song so double points. 😂

We really need to recommend this channel to Austin McConnell. That RUclipsr give shoutouts to some other RUclipsrs with 1000 sub or less with quality visual, narration, and dedication. For me, this channel check all the boxes

Two things I don't think a lot of people realize life wise are...1) malygos was hands down the strongest aspect he did defeat galakrind that's why neltharian focused on the blues. 2) the void and the burning legion are two entirely different things and are by no means friends or buddies and are works ng together in any such way. Black dragons are earth protectors that's why they manipulated them so much easier they are after all buried in the earth
Only part you’ve glossed over is where Moira thaurisan took anduin captive bu he had a secret hearthstone so he could leave at any time, varian shows up with MI7 smashes through IF almost kills her then anduin stops it offers the council idea and yeah…it wasn’t like initially copacetic on Moira part to be in a council of leadership lol
I really don't care, I loved cataclysm. To be fair, I didn't even start playing wow until late wrath, so I didn't get attached to the old world. The revamp didn't ruin years of memories and nostalgia for me. I get why it angered so many. But I really "grew up" in cata.
So Neltharion convinced the 4 other most powerful dragons in existence to part with a portion of themselves and imbue it into the Dragon Soul... Would you say he forged a secret weapon? A... One Soul?
I remember the work in blizzard MoP was to happen before WotLK but was rejected then lich king was split in two parts cause was too long but never taken the second part after cataclysm we all complained about editing MoP to fit after cata and didn’t even take the second part of WotLK so many left that’s when Everquest took over and redid our work in WoD and after so all the great minds are no longer in blizzard the lore is lost after cata
Cataclysm was one of the absolute sickest things any MMO has ever done, held back by some poor choices. But Still, the idea of this ancient corrupted dragon tearing the world apart made for one of the best threats I've ever seen. Unfortunately, the actual raid against him sucked.
It's not that chogul was the first. A two headed ogre is a mega rare thing and they are smarter than any other ogre by a mile. Able to use magic and still strong like an ohre
@@Lawllin Deathwing was on Draenor when Khadgar closed the portal you can see his shadow fly over khadgar back through the portal just before it closes. Edit: searched it up, he came back from draenor just before the events that took place at Grim Batol as he had learned that’s where the demon soul was and his eggs along with Sabellion were trapped on draenor.

Makgora isn't a battle for title of warchief it's a duel to the death where magic is forbidden except shaman weapon enhancements
