Which side goes up and which one down? I know the leds should face 9 and 3 positions, but these lights have a cover lid on either up or down side

I've had these in my car for over 8 months now.
I drive 100+ miles a day and 75% of which is at night due to my work schedule. These things are running constantly and sometimes even during the day in 100 degree weather here in Baltimore this week going through the Baltomore Harbor Tunnel -- No issues at all. Phenomenonal headlights.
Don't believe this guy.
