True bro, ❤️. In anyone drives a Ford they will findnit difficult to enjoy driving another car. Can you believe, i learnt myself driving buying a Ford Ikon? Such a drivers car, its very sad that Ford moved out of India. 😔. By the way i like the way you present your videos. Gentle, clear and useful explanation. Keep up the good work. 👍
I own a 1st Gen Ford Fiesta TDCI 1.4 SXI (2008 Model) , still driving it with a 175000 KMS ODO. One of the best n heartiest machine 🥰. Either on B2B traffic or on express highways one word, it is the driver's car. Look wise it is Cute and even after a decade of design it does not look old.Performance part it is unbeatable with 1596 CC engine and 101BHP, Ford had a good after sale servicing center. There is a mis-perception that it is costly to maintain. Not at all. Pros: Look, Power, Built, space, Highway FE, Hydraulic Power steering, dual Airbags and ABS Cons: Wheel size should have been 15''. City FE I am enjoying this power house in every drive. Sails in the ghat section like cheetah and on the highway it is unbeatable. With a lighter foot and minimum Ac usage on the highways I got an excellent FE of 22 kmpl. Even after 1.75 lakh kms odo never touched an engine for repair. That's the beauty of TDCI n fiesta 💚💚
Loved your video on Fiesta . I'm a Ford lover too , miss u Ford. I have owned 1999 Ford Taurus , 2003 Taurus , 2010 Fiesta and 2011 Figo Steering and chassis of Fiesta is still unmatched by any car in India under 20 lakhs.
Awesome story. when I worked with Ford Motor Company and discussed my colleagues who changed the company lease cars from Global Fiesta to EcoSport, they gave feedback that Ecosport doesn't have the driving dynamics as Global Fiesta and it is always Fun to Drive Global Fiesta. Worth review even though it is not on Roads now. One drawback untold in this video is the spares unavailability and cost.
As a proud owner of the Global Fiesta myself which is nearing 1 lakh kms, I completely agree to your well articulated views. One point from my ownership experience is that the spares are very costly hence we need to be super careful while driving and maintaining this car otherwise it's truly a gem of a car and as you mentioned it brings a grin everytime you take it out for a spin 😊. Thank you for choosing this series of videos. PS: please consider a key cover as any accidental drops during wash/service can be tedious. Also consider changing the gear knob as it wears out around the 90k mark.
I own a Ford figo 2017 model.... Which is almost similar to this fiesta.... I have never regretted even for a sec.... You can only understand if you would have driven a Ford.... Unmatched till date when it comes to handling and fuel efficiency... I am near Valparai so I drive hills atleast once a month .... It has more than 30 hairpin bends .... Usually drivers won't feel comfortable around hairpin bends but I love those bends because of my car's handling... I highways it is an ease to gape and change lanes within a fraction of seconds because of its agility...i have got a mileage close to 25-26 while cruising at 80-100 in highway and recently I got 23kmpl while driving to munnar which is a hill station... I bet no other car would return that much efficiency with 4 people on borad and with full luggage... I will never sell this car until diesel cars are banned that's how much I love my car.... Happy and proud owner of ford figo ❤️
@@motowagon Certain things can't be expressed in words... One such is my love towards ford.... Not only figo the discontinuation of Punto and polo is also a big loss for indian market... Such a driver's car they were.... I don't find such a strong competitor for those 3 cars from any of the other manufacturers till date and it's a big gape that one of the existing brands in India should fill... Lets wait and see which car brand is really gonna value the real car enthusiasts of Indian market..!!! I humbly request a vlog on Fiat Punto please.... Thanks for acknowledging my comment... Best wishes for your future vlogs 😊
Initially ford didn't sell any spareparts directly to customers. Later on they changed their mind and started open counters for selling spares. Actually this created a dent in customers for Ford as our people look into that matter seriously. When they realized this after some 15 years it was too late.
This video made me feel nostalgic and took me to the olden days. During 2011, diesel cars sold like hot cakes. I test rode all the cars in the segment Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta, VW Vento, Skoda Rapid, Fiat Linea 1.3 MJD and Nissan Sunny. Each car excelled in it's unique behaviour. Hyundai Verna - Butter Smooth Performance, Fluidic design language, Fiesta - Excellent Handling, Unique looks, Sunny - Acres of Space, Linea - Phenomenal Ride and Handling and VW/Skoda - 1.6 Tdi's explosive performance. We were hunting for a diesel vehicle and finalised Rapid as it suited our needs. My father still uses that Rapid and clocked 1.4 Lakh Kms and it still behaves like a new car as it is maintained well. Coming to the Fiesta, being a driving enthusiast I liked that car in all aspects except for the Space in the rear. For this reason we preferred Rapid over Fiesta for long distance mile munching.
I am subscribing your channel just because of this video. I've been a proud owner of Fiesta classic, global Fiesta and now a Figo. And I know what an actual Ford car feels like.
I bought a new Ford Aspire in 2021, love it thoroughly. As you told rightly, the back seat is not so comfortable in Aspire as well. I felt Dzire was much better for my family. But I convinced my family and bought this machine for the safety aspect.
In 2017 I want to buy Renault pulse so I went to used car showroom near jayanagar Bangalore, but I couldn't find the car so I thought of returning home, at that time my 2nd son showed me Ford Figo smoke grey colour, we bought the car. till now it's experience is different, maximum speed touched in my car is 175
This is true gem which really miss for many. @4:15 you said, the feel you cant say. it is that much attached to you, and your unique number 9009.. and @17:13- you told true word, only who drives tdci knows the bliss, and all the way as you said it is attached , attached, attached car, yes it does. Even in my hard and bad mood times i drove it in highway after it gives you such feel is that some one gives you hugs in your hard times.. Really i felt it. Also once it is in highway you can realize why we too the car, it gives such pleasure and aggressive while you drove, Considering all, that is why they words it as "ford its connecting people" Come on my dear all ford lovers lets make joy in this machine.
I really like the way you candidly speak about negatives too despite being your car. All the above just love your Tamil slang. Can keep listening all day!

After Safari, I dreamt of owning a Fiesta classic - a perfect sedan with top-notch comfort. as you mentioned I was not impressed with this facelift's design plus had a bad experience with Ford sales team. After test driving many from Swift to Polo, I ended up in buying a Punto in 2017! Just for the handling response I have got it from the HPS - it just put a smile on my face and I felt this is my car! though it terribly lags all other depts like advanced features, low knee and head rest, etc. but its all about the connect btw ur heart and the car. As of now no regrets enjoying every bit of my drive! changed clutch system @83k kms rest all good. my car mechanic said I can do timing chain at 1L as there are no signs of noise. We had failed to recognize and celebrate good cars on right time - Hope Fiat and Ford will come back stronger! but we can't expect those cult diesel engines which they are known for.. Thanks for sharing your insights on "Driver's cars" only few can relate it.
Feel good video. Mine is similar story I bought a Polo Trendline in May 2022. We both have a similar car story. I was able to connect with your story on every point you explained.
I've been watching all your videos, without a doubt I took a used Ford Ecosport 1.5 petrol after your ecosport which you bought for motowagon crew and happy with it. It's a real fun to drive car.
Very excited about this new series... Currently my favourite series is Underrated Cars... No car reviewer I've known so far as come up with the idea of series.. Great job keep it up!
Asir bro, you explained same feelings what I feel and emotional connected with my Ecosport S TDCi .....It's not a car it's my stress buster.....if i feel any stress ....I'll go to drive with Nature drive With Ecosport S I can feel relax immediately.... Love my Ecosport I am happy and satisfied with my Ecosport ❤️😘 It's now Gem
I feel you, Bro. I own Figo 2014. I love driving every km of it. What an invention Tdci is 😍 especially the til tik tractor sound wow 😮 Still, I'm unable to find a replacement for it. Missing Ford badly they shouldn't have left India. Not blaming Ford for it. I can say Indian people didn't value Ford. I admired Ikon during my school days so Ford was/is my dream car. Still dreaming some magic happens to get the giant back to India.
1st car is always close to heart, The way u are connected to you car brings memories for us, let the new series begin with this one. Ford leaving India is not acceptable despite having strong proven engine, Hope Tata will use ford engine in the next model of Nexon..🤞
Hi MW Team, Vanakkam.🙏 My dream car was Ford Fiesta Classic when I was working in Ford-Visteon Chennai. Then once they stopped it. The dream shifted to Global Fiesta ( I really love all factors in that car). I could see day in day out when I enter to my Visteon plant.. Due to Budget and other factors, my first car was turned out to be TATA Indica , driven for 1.5Lakhs Kms with superb condition was giving 18Kmpl mileage and sold out with heart feeling... Then, I Purchased Ford Ecosport in 2019 and I feel all the comments you are giving for Global Fiesta is matching for my ecosport. (Vennilla ;-)) 60k + kms so far... Reasonable maintanence cost till date; Great mileage : 18kmpl in bumper to bumper trafficr in Bangalore. 21 to 23 in Highways from Hosur to Dindigul/coimbatore/Chennai/Pondy/kannur/Mysore/Pune and almost all over south states that I driven.. Enjoyed and really can feel your connect with Global Fiesta ❤️ Hats-off for all your videos..👍 Keep going Team - MW.✌️ Nandri .🙏
Hi Asir, very long awaited video bug thanks, as per your advice and suggestion I went with Figo diesel in 2020 I am also one of happiest customer of Ford. 😊👍
My dream car is Fiesta Classic 👍… Both Ford & Fiat (HPAS) are seriously Driver’s car. I still do not own any car… will def buy either classic or linea. And as you had mentioned it puts smile 😃 on your face whenever u starts driving it
When we were looking for a car to replace first gen Figo, Pre owned Global Fiesta was the one I really liked but unfortunately didn't do TD. Somehow fortunately got a First Gen Ecosport (Same Golden Bronze color). The Global Fiesta is truly a head Turner for enthusiasts. The Aston Martin grill is ♥️ and the sleek cut line throughout the side profile with clean shut lines 🔥 Feels good to see a Gem, being taken care good as much as it deserves. Have many more Happy Mile Munching!
Sir because of your confidence level on ford aspire test drive, i bought on 2020 but i never regret for it . and it's very sentimental to me as its my first car and i love to drive on ford cars. only ford owners knows the feel on stability of ford cars. and it gives more confident level of driving with proper steering mechanism. i Love FORD 💙❤️
My ritz(base variant petrol) driven 1.25 lakh kms used for 14 years with no major maintenance involved and sold for 2 lakhs. It was my complete family caaaar…..now own 5th Gen City
I am also Ford lover bro.i used 2012 model old gend figo from 2015 to 2021 Un fortunately I sell Ford Figo. Now I am using Baleno bs6 petrol. I missed Ford's road stability...☹️
True that. Driving enthusiasts will never feel bad for the limitations of a car with an awesome revv happy engine and an excellent cornering stability. My 2nd generation swift 2014 is a fine example like yours too. I took my swift to Munnar within two years of learning driving. People said it is the toughest road to drive in the south of India. But I never felt any difficult because of the cornering stability of my swift. I was also once a big fan of the planted ride of the ford figo.
My long time dream of owning a car finally came true this year. Finally, bought a Nissan Magnite and got it delivered a month ago. Been enjoying the learning process of how to drive a car (since this is my first car).
Wow😍 my fav car..i had 2011 model. Negatives you told are absolutely true but once you take the car out you will forget everything..fantastic drivers car. One more negative spares are costly and need to wait for some time compare to previous gen fiesta..
Well-done Bro Asir. Now you have proved that you are grateful to your car, which carries you wherever you go. The car seems to be a lucky one since it waited for eight months for you to come and buy and joined you serve you and being cared by you. You have sold your old fiesta to a deserving buyer. Is there any chance of featuring that car in the new series? Kindly make it happen and I am sure it will be a welcome thing.
Yes Asir Bhai whatever you said is 💯 correct on Ford Fiesta. Just upgraded to SUV due of ground clearance. Cornering and Driving comfort is inevitable ♥️. My fiesta😌
I can still connect to your feelings sir… I had the same connect when I first drove a ford freestyle… but unfortunately ford exited India before I could buy it😢
Fiesta was a gem of its time. Thanks for the review. Please make a video on Tata Quadrajet(Manza, Vista, Zest etc.,) vehicles since these are one of the budget second hand options. Multijets are one of the most reliable cars in our country. This is my kind request. Thankyou Motowagon.
I have never seen this car anywhere and whenever you say my global fiesta I thought you meant classic fiesta. I just saw this car on an Instagram template today that template, Volkswagen vs Ford It's brilliant.. but I like this.

Thanks for the video brother 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏽
Feel good video. Mine is similar story I bought a Polo Trendline in May 2022. We both have a similar car story. I was able to connect with your story on every point you explained.
Sir I asked yesterday and I am seeing today, really awesome 👌
Wonderful to watch along with positive words 👑
unique car reviewer. Vanga vedio kulla polam 👌
I can sense a chemistry between you two which is adorable ❣️
🤗❤️😊
1.5 TDCi is phenomenal diesel engine. Unmatched pickup and power delivery.
Yeah ☺️
I've been watching all your videos, without a doubt I took a used Ford Ecosport 1.5 petrol after your ecosport which you bought for motowagon crew and happy with it. It's a real fun to drive car.
Very nice video, you are very lucky because you got the lucky number.
We missed Ford company.
My first car 2000 model Santro.
My dream car Benz.
Yes Brother, really Lucky.
Wishing you to own a Benz very soon 💗
Very excited about this new series... Currently my favourite series is Underrated Cars... No car reviewer I've known so far as come up with the idea of series.. Great job keep it up!
I owned a classic fiesta ,,,,, awesome car 🙂.... Can relate to your emotions 👍
I love my Ford Ecosport 2018 titanium Diesel.. I can absolutely feel your happiness bro.. even I have the same love towards my Eco ❤
Saw your car in Reliance today. Perfectly maintained, not sure how many people will maintain car like this.

Hi MW Team,
Vanakkam.🙏
My dream car was Ford Fiesta Classic when I was working in Ford-Visteon Chennai.
(Vennilla ;-))
60k + kms so far...
Reasonable maintanence cost till date;
Great mileage :
18kmpl in bumper to bumper trafficr in Bangalore.
21 to 23 in Highways from Hosur to Dindigul/coimbatore/Chennai/Pondy/kannur/Mysore/Pune and almost all over south states that I driven..
Enjoyed and really can feel your connect with Global Fiesta ❤️
Hats-off for all your videos..👍
Keep going Team - MW.✌️
Nandri .🙏
Hi Asir, very long awaited video bug thanks, as per your advice and suggestion I went with Figo diesel in 2020 I am also one of happiest customer of Ford. 😊👍
Great to Hear 😊

Thank you 😊

Sir because of your confidence level on ford aspire test drive, i bought on 2020 but i never regret for it . and it's very sentimental to me as its my first car and i love to drive on ford cars. only ford owners knows the feel on stability of ford cars. and it gives more confident level of driving with proper steering mechanism. i Love FORD 💙❤️
Great to Hear 😊
Same with me bro...but was not lucky to think or search for the car like you did. My favorite/ unlucky car - Fiat Linea!
Though I worked in Ford India I was unable to afford it.. fantastic vehicle.. missing it so badly..😔😢
Check "Auto Zuto" Channel bro
My ritz(base variant petrol) driven 1.25 lakh kms used for 14 years with no major maintenance involved and sold for 2 lakhs. It was my complete family caaaar…..now own 5th Gen City

I am also Ford lover bro.i used 2012 model old gend figo from 2015 to 2021 Un fortunately I sell Ford Figo. Now I am using Baleno bs6 petrol. I missed Ford's road stability...☹️
Completely agree that the front seats were extremely sporty and body hugging
am also FORD lover (user)
Last 10yrs FORD FUSION use பண்ணுறேன் 😍👍👌

True'
Well-done Bro Asir. Now you have proved that you are grateful to your car, which carries you wherever you go. The car seems to be a lucky one since it waited for eight months for you to come and buy and joined you serve you and being cared by you. You have sold your old fiesta to a deserving buyer. Is there any chance of featuring that car in the new series? Kindly make it happen and I am sure it will be a welcome thing.
Thank you Brother. Have to check the old one
Good handling car... Old is gold... Review Excellent... Thank you for yours efforts & good explanation...

Yes Asir Bhai whatever you said is 💯 correct on Ford Fiesta. Just upgraded to SUV due of ground clearance. Cornering and Driving comfort is inevitable ♥️. My fiesta😌

Superb Review na... We can feel the bond between the car n You.
Will do Brother
