The best part of these videos is that you do not claim to know what every part/component does right away, but go through the investigation process and deduction. Makes me want to mess around with these things myself. Keep them coming!

It’s refreshing to watch a video of this type where there’s some real expertise and the right tools are being used. Too often, the person has little idea what they are doing and is just as likely to make things worse. I’m not in the US but from what I have seen, I’d be happy to send NorthridgeFix items for repair.

Thank you for your video my FOB has worked intermittently discovered a dry joint on the irf led in the front. It fell off once touched with a soldering iron on one side. I tried desperately to solder it back nearly gave up and was greatly encouraged by your Video. It also had a power issue with a broken track. Thanks it is working again.

i think the coil is sticking out slightly from the side and if the customer try hard to bring the plastic cover back he might ended up ripping the capacitor from its place... but maybe i am wrong.
u're very professional i see all ur videos from egypt :)

A technical front desk person who handles customers, phone calls and web is most definitely needed. Hiring the right person is not easy. The tech who is currently working with me that you see in some of the videos have been with me for 7 years. He's honest and handles everything that comes his way. Very difficult to find a person like that. The only downside is, he does not speak English. I'm good at multi tasking although i constantly wish i had more help when i find my self, answering calls, talking to customers in store, and working on a repair or recording a repair, not counting that i still have to edit and post RUclips videos when i come home from work and give enough time to family and kids :-).

How much zoom are we looking at under the microscope in this video? I have two keys for my car that are both intermittently locking/unlocking the car. I'd like to send one of them in to you to get it looked at, but my keys looks "perfect" at 1x with just my eyeballs.

Also the height you have may not fit back into the fob. Also why don’t the guy just take the brain from the old and put into a used key. Easier than try to fix the old one.

Hello I own a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire basically a Mercedes SLK - CLK . My key fob broke open and I lost the Transponder I have only one good key left. You used to be able to get these for around $125. now no supplies and no ETA from Chrysler or locksmith most say they do not support these cars No one services this car any longer Mercedes has dropped all of us and we are dead to Chrysler the key is VIN# specific and with this SKREEM security I wish someone would develope a bypass on a car like this . You can buy mechanical parts all day for the Mercedes and Crossfire but not with the electrical parts for a CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE which is with a VIN# specific for the key and the SKREEM you are with out any support.((( If you can find a key ))) like from NEEDSWINGS they want $700 for one key and the SKREEM is another $600. I dont know why an aftermarket company has not taken this problem and fix it. Many on the CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE forums are so very angry that a car company CHRYSLER AND MERCEDES has left us with cars that can leave us on the side of the road and if you can get parts ( electrical ) they are priced more than a ROLLS ROYCE or ASTON MARTIN electrical parts or a key. these companies have left us with cars that are worthless and unsellable and the financial loss we are expected to take. Many of these cars are in pristine condition or high mileage as daily drivers... Can you help us with this problem or know of someone who can help us on developing a bypass for the SKREEM to remove this stupid security system on this old of a car ..There is a market for this as long as it does not cost as much as the car because if ytou charge to much everyone will just have their cars towed to CHRYSLERS front headquarters. This car in just a few years will be left in the salvage yards even in perfect condition due to a unusable hunk of metal yard ornament. Please go to the Crossfire forum and see how many of us are in need of a solution to our problem If you happen to look please mention me on your post . Thank you
