Good video, but I think it is a very complicated doing for endusers. I did the .ini change, but when I open a new model, the path of the firmfoder is connected, but to the directory not. And I still have to cut and paste the data by hand?

Thanks for the video. What about components and all catalogs, I want to have them also in a firm folder so that all colleagues can use them any time, I mean up-to-date components and up-to-date catalogs. Should I create sub-directories "Components" and "Catalogs" into a Firm folder? And what about pathes, should I populate each path for each sub-directory into .ini file (and via ctrl+E)?

Hi, a question again. There is user.ini file where I can stall my settings, okay it's clear. Besides that, there is options.ini file which is also an initialization file. What is the difference between user.ini and options.ini files? Thaks!

Nice video. About non alpha numeric character. The copyright symbol © does not work in Tekla to be on top. Earlier this worked but after a few years it didn’t work anymore

      I use 1.then_the_part_name_i _want_to_assign
      1.Hot_formed_column
(This will then show all my “favourite” settings at the top of the drop down menus.
      Works for everything
