Awesome clip, great racing and I love the commentary! Didn't think of the Saab free wheel until you mentioned it...

Great video! Bummer about the carb. You were pretty far out front until that “sigh” moment. Such a good race. Thank you for posting!

Thanks Matthew. I'm dreaming up possible carburetor adjustments and modifications as I type this. I'll be back stronger than ever!

Float height ? Low fuel pressure ?

    • @StefanVapaa

I've tried varying the float height to no avail (at least not yet). This carburetor is not tolerant of high fuel pressure and wants only between 2-3 psi. More than that and the float can't shut the inlet valve.

I still love this little car. Sounds like a swarm of angry hornets hell bent on winning a race.

Thanks. I'm trying to get it ready for this year. Fingers crossed!

The vintage grand prix is one of the many reasons I love living in Pittsburgh. I always went as a kid and always wanted to take part in it one day. I got to drive the course in 2018 in my buddy's 66 Sunbeam Tiger. I also got to meet you! Absolutely beautiful vehicle you have.

Thank you for stopping and saying "Hi". Thank you for the compliments. Keep working on that dream to participate. I know several people who tell me a story just like yours and now, they are racing in the PVGP!

Oh hey, I was the guy that awkwardly yelled at you that I love your videos while you were on the starting line, lol. Absolutely amazing race to watch, was an awesome time, and looks like it was a hell of rollercoaster for you, too. Really enjoy the commentary and insights about what's going on in the video as it happens, really helps put everything into perspective. Thanks for the upload! Great driving out there, hope to see you next year! Ideally with more brakes.

Thanks for saying hi, awkward or otherwise! I've already started working to figure out why the brakes failed and am formulating a plan for next year. Maybe I'll even figure something out with the carb (bit more difficult)?

Great racing! I was loving watching you 3 up front have such a close battle. Shame about the mechanical issues, but you still finished strong! Here is footage of the race from turn 13: ruclips.net/video/-pnsF-UtBEs/видео.html
