My brother Sang in Die Forelle (Schubert) then he got to watch me sing in The Pirates of Penzance, No. 13 By Arthur Sullivan then called me a minion. Yes I am a girl but they thought I was a boy because I had a boyish voice and looked like one.
I'd also like to know what version of Ave Maria it is
I’m gonna listen to this doing homework. I don’t have an opera house to go insane at but I can easily go insane studying.
same
I found this channel by going insane with studying😂
Fits well cause I can't write an essay to save my life
Agree
Allow me to join your insanity.
POV: You're the Phantom of the Opera and you're slowly dying of love :(
Playlist idea: *you are a royal in an ancient asian kingdom*
YES please!!! 🤩🙏🏻
oh yes, please !
Done a day ago❤️
you couldn't have worded that worse tbh 😭 that's not the right terminology if we're talking about ancient, and "Asian" is grouping together such a massive group of completely different cultures, all distinct in their music. East, West, South, North. Russia, Turkestan, Iraq and China have distinct sounds but all Asian.
@@jiminici3351 hence, that's why i call it "asian" since each and every region/countries had different culturesーand i don't even mention a specific one. I already knew that asia don't only consist three countries since i'm an asian person myself ( southeast asian, from Indonesia ). Thank you for sharing and i hope this clear the misunderstanding! Also, have some snickers to calm yourself🍫.
As a huge Phantom of the Opera fan this playlist just feels like going down in the Palais Garnier and falling in love
Falling in love with the phantom of the opera 😩😩
I immediately thought of Phantom when I clicked on this playlist lol
As someone who is currently listening to this while writing my third essay on the Palais Garnier, I really appreciate this comment :)
I love the phantom of the opera since i was 6.
yessssss
As a professional opera singer, I am overjoyed to see a playlist like this reaching new people! Thank you
Wow, that's so nice! I'd love to hear some of your pieces (if you have them on the Internet, of course). I admire your work, you must have a beautiful voice!

This is a perfect playlist for when you are a performer at a certain Opera House and a certain Opera Ghost keeps reigning with terror upon the place and you do what you can to not upset this said "ghost" and meet a horrendous fate
Lmao maybe this certain Opera Ghost is called Erik 👀
Gives spirited away vibes..
@@killer_on_the_road4129 perhaps you are correct 👀
I am listening to this while working on a character analysis project about how the phantom of the opera is an allegory for depression...
As a professional opera singer this tickles my brain wrinkcles ehheh....heh. . Yes when I am in the opera house I lose all my brain sells
I bought tickets for the opera for the first time yesterday - excited to become insane at an irl opera house soon
ah i got so scared when it completely disapeared once i tried to listen to this playlist again, it's a relief that this masterpiece is up again, thank you for your hard work :)💖
listening to this after getting out of psych clinic, might as well invite my personalities altogether for a cup of tea and scones while playing this in the garden.
I was literally talking about this with my therapist. Not sure if this playlist is good for me but I'm certainly appreciating to lose touch with reality in such a beautiful eay
Playlist idea: you are slowly dying from the black plague in Florence as you imagine entering the Heavens door
Oh wow! Impressed or dreaded? I don't know. But want it nonetheless.
My dream becoming true after watching 2849758339 times Phantom of the Opera
Can I thank you and your Pyotr F*CKING Tchaikovsky for promoting classical music in such a creative and appealing way
I’ve been obsessed with Maleficent and Diaval recently after watching the second Disney movie and while listening to this playlist, I couldn’t help but imagine the following:
Maleficent and Diaval were both invited by Aurora and Phillip to attend a special performance hosted for the new royal family at their palace. Little did everyone know, the ensemble of opera singers were a crew of witches in disguise. They were all singing a curse for Aurora’s unborn child but no one could tell because of the foreign language. Maleficent could feel the energy shifting within the palace as they sung but she chose to ignore it. Aurora later on excuses herself from the performance because she began to feel really nauseous. Maleficent knew something was definitely wrong when she noticed how the lead opera singer steadily watched Aurora leave while continuing to sing.
It turns out, Maleficent was being punished by the witches for breaking the curse she was supposed to keep on Aurora. And now as a form of punishment, they will curse her unborn grandchild. Due to medical complications that arise as a result of the curse, either Aurora or her child will survive.
Will Maleficent and Diaval be able to find a cure and save both Aurora and their grandchild in time or will a wicked choice need to be made?
Omg is it okay I write a short story about it?
@@heywhysoserious YES?! Of course that’s ok!! I’m really happy that you’ve been inspired to write because of this so by all means go ahead! Just remember to credit me for the idea if you decide to post the story somewhere. And PLEASE share it with me once you finish it! (I can give you my email if you want). I would love to see your take on the prompt :))

I've been writing a book for the last year, this one has been one of my favorites. Perfect for the slow decent into insanity I love writing, THANK YOU SO MUCH, THIS STUFF IS SO MOTIVATING!
Much respect for choosing the Maria Callas recording of O Mio Babbino Caro. I see you with the taste level.
It hits different when you’re listening this while studying for your psychiatry exam
"E il cervello poverello
già stordito sbalordito
non ragiona, si confonde,
si riduce ad impazzar!"
Slowly becoming insane in my house
we're already insane since 2020
The painting is absolutely delightful. So much tension and anticipation, but it all feels good-natured.
You just don't understand how pumped I was when listening to Maid of Orleans, Act II. Good lord.
God I'm so glad I found this! Opera is so underappreciated, I'm glad this is here! Just what I needed to start my day
Been listening to this playlist on repeat for about a week now, can confirm I am mildly more insane than I was previously
i love how the song info including the year is shown. really puts this music into context. beautiful work
Could you do a "you're a sailor sailing the seven seas" playlist?

Noooo just kidding. I really love these playlists. They're perfect to write my crazy-ass villain characters. Thank you for this absolute blessing
I love opera and Ballet, I never got how some found these beautiful art forms, 'boring'. They are spine chilling, and full of power and emotion that you can really feel deep in your soul.
the titles are always on pointttt
This is my favorite one. Thank you.
hell yeah, an opera playlist!
Every one of your videos is like a jewelry box with divinely exquisite treasures inside. 👑💍💎🪞🎶

Playlist idea: Going to a haunted carnival/ or circus
"By Pyotr F*ucking Tchaikovsky" had me dying xD
God, I am worried because that's not even a lie. I've been feeling like I am losing touch with reality lately and operas are my biggest refuge after books.

In an opera, everything is in slowmo
true
Not.
not true
try to listen " se lento ancora il fulmine"
that isn't slow motion at all
it all depend on the situation in the story
I looooove your playlists, they make me feel better when I feel wrong. Can you please make a playlist with the "Werther mood"? ha, ha. It would be awesome. Anyway, thanks for all the work that you've done.

What a beautiful day to drop a chandelier 💗

What did you mean "That Sherlock Holmes scene" ?

i love 45:44 Lacrimosa (Mozart) but for my love to the jazz, 48:56 Ave Maria (Schubert) made me fall in love 💖💖💖

This title reminds me of some dude who never heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis, The Wise.
I love ❤️
I knew I recognized the first song from La Boheme! I really want to rewatch it, but I don't know where my teacher found his recording, unfortunately...
