nintendo is vile for making it look like big man got a ton of lines in the lyric video when he in fact when the song performance came out we realised he had like just barely half the lines we thought 😭😭

I guess it would have looked a bit off for Shiver and Frye to provide backup vocals without Big Man? Like, it was a visual design choice so the RUclips release would look a little more cleaner when he doesn't actually sing with them. (And to be fair they absolutely got away with that, I mean you need to have the BEST ears in the world to be able to catch they messed up before the performance was made available in the game.)

Big Man produces the music, is their vocal coach, plus teaches them the choreography. He don't be having the energy to sing a lot in ever track.
That's not even adding that he's also a dance teacher for a dance school that he certainly owns. He has a lot of stuff on his plate no wonder he was Team Solo and Team Beach, he needs to relax.
I know that he is the composer of the group (which I absolutely adore, every deep cut song is just a chef kiss), but I just wish he would sing a bit more. At least some harmonies.

what's so weird about the lyric video is that they add big man's icon for every time shiver and frye sing back up vocals except for 2:45 ... Why did they decide to be truthful only once

What’s weirder is at 4:13 Big Man actually does sing and they completely forgot to add the icon or even lyrics for him (also it couldn’t be an intern mistake cuz the exact same icons appear on the same lines in the JP version)

I think in the case of Callie and Marie though, best girl gets a little more because as the one who typically resolves phrases of their songs she gets an extra bar or two to really make it sparkle.
