This is the excellent review I was anticipating from you, Pavel. Yes, one of the big advantages of hub drive is the coasting. I know a good percentage of the mileage I get on my Meepo NLS Pro hub drive is simply coasting. Also yes, hub motors are much more discrete than belt or gear drive. Where I live that does not much matter as I have not once been hassled by the police, but if you live in a country or district that frowns upon any PEVs, it is a big thing to be discrete. I must also add the urethane on the rear drive of my Meepo is much more generous than you have with the Exway. I know hub drive has disadvantages as well, but for me and my street riding style, I am sold on hub drive. Top notch work my friend! I also have to add I LOVED your delightful daughter's video!
David, thank you very much for such lovely and detailed comment. I am glad that you liked the videos my friend. Hopefully i win the lottery and start visiting all my worldwide esk8 friends for rides. I will start with you 😀
@@PavelGarmas I consider that a high honor, my friend! Also, if I should win the lottery, there is NO DOUBT, that you would be the first Eskater and expert I would visit.
Probably the best format board for everyday coummuting, combined travels with train, bus, metro : very portable, powerfull enough and decent range. I prefer from far 2in1 boards cause they match with my usage, but i would say YES to have that one as a second board ;-)
This would be ideal for me i need something light and easy to carry to go to the gym whenever I don’t feel like driving my car. Those big boards look like a lot of fun though but that’s why I snowboard and go mountain biking for can’t spend too much money on a new hobbie lol I’ll go broke quick
My only complaint is that the wheels should be 90-95 mm diameter instead of 85mm. It would make it a bit more comfortable and less likely to get stuck on edges. Is the turbo mode off more energy efficient than just going easy in the throttle? With turbo on i got 14 km on my first ride with 50% left. I generally kick off when standing still and go 20-30 km/h. Going slow helps extend range a lot(!)
Hi mate, Sorry but I do not understand the question... are you asking about this board or about electric skateboard breaking in general. Please clarify and I will do my best to answer accordingly.
BUYER BEWARE! Exway telling me batteries are out of stock for X1 Pros Originally quoted me just over $100 USD for a battery but now quoting me $350 USD. Can’t even provide a battery either because there’s no stock!
May I ask a question, since I have an Exway Max Hub as well, but with cloudwheels. my board has been playing up lately, and exway are trying to help, but I wanted to know. What app verion is your remote at? Mine is SR-02-00-01.. Exway are telling me it should be SR-02-00-04 (you find this in the update firmware, and the question mark button. I've also been getting random voltage sag from 50% and 40% which drops to 20% and shuts off.. wondering if you ever had this issue, have you had this issue? Finally.. do you get battery temperature? on your app? FYI.. Cloudwheels definitely make a change in your ride.. I switched over after a month and if you haven't done so yet.. you will love it. Cheers. nice video btw, I've subscribe :D
Simon, I do not have any issues with the board at the moment. The range did drop after i have installed the cloud wheels but that is normal. I normally do not upgrade any firmware unless there is an issue with it.
Correct...unless you do need the board that looks like a normal board. You could replace the wheels but it will take a bit from the range and torque. ruclips.net/video/3qD-5ojkzSA/видео.html

So glad they changed the bushings on this from the older triangular ones.
Definitely! Handles quite well to be fair.

Well said mate!
I got 7 board and many that are 5 times more powerful however exway takes it place as a commuter every day.

This is definitely a good board for quick commuting.
I got around 4500 km on my x1 pro hub with 105 Cloud Wheels. XD
Nice! Good to know. Does feel loke a reliable board. Cheers mate.

Thank you for the feedback 😊
Hello Pavel thank you for your meticulous review!! i want to ask is there a effective breaking system while using downside hills. Cheers!

From the thumbnail I expected an opinion of the board with cloudwheels on 😔
Cloudwheels video is up next mate.
If your board will get soak wet and you don't dry hub motors : your motor bearings will rust.
That is correct. I do spin the motors for a few minutes to warm them up and to get the water out.
nice haircut
😆 cheers
How many kilometers can you drive on Donuts?
I would say 15...if riding hard.
Was the remote water resistant?
It is not waterproof remote but your hand would cover most of it anyway.
What's it like going up hills?
Surprisingly not that bad. It will eat into your range but 20-25 degrees hill is not a problem.

So sorry mate....
I didn't have any issues with the battery as yet but hopefully spare parts will be made available.

140KM in 4 weeks give it to me ill have that done a weekend
My commuting is not that far so i couldn't get more miles on it...it is at 190 now. Using it in all conditions was my primary goal.
Bottom line don't buy hubs unless u have smooth streets and small hills

Yeah, we need more water proof e-skates. No one has the time to wait for sunny days to ride your skate.
Best way to get a fully waterproof board is to build one yourself.
Beastboard viper over this
Why not ; )
Great review but as a life long longboarder, watching your board in the rain hurt 😂
😆 i do understand mate. I have no choice though... this board is my commuting board and i do use it every day regardless of weather.
