I lived in Ocean Beach across the bay from SeaWorld ... Lived there 8 months outdoors. I could always hear the people at SeaWorld as well as the seals at night. We slept on beach and in the sand dunes.
Docktor Jim the journey to Atlantis in Florida in my opinion is better because it is more of a dark ride but it was under revamp and they took the scary out if you come pardon them now and then you might agree
Also Orlando loses more effects each year unfortunately making it more of a dull experience... Has me wishing the coaster portion were longer more and more
@Jacob Bourgoin I say Orlando is my favorite because I haven't been to the one in San Diego, it's also like any Orlando Dark Ride like Splash Mountain at Disney World. So I can say I've been on a real Orlando Theme Park Attraction.
I went on this when it first opened, and I kid you not, I have NEVER been more drenched on a ride! People were coming off this thing soaking wet, & the park was selling towels from a gift stand right outside the ride. Did they tone down the drench factor? This didn't seem as bad as I remember it...
I think there is always a random nature to these things...but possibly things like the weight and position of the riders can be a factor, the relative position of other boats on the water etc. Maybe I was just lucky...but I still got wetter than the camera suggested :-)

I'm not big into roller coasters but a bunch of girls made my friend and I sit all the way in the front and we got soaked! lol
I knew it, a Mack Ride Coaster. I love those Water Coasters, and you imediatly see its made by Mack. If you visited once Europapark, you know what Coasters are Mack creations.

Are you sure...this is San Diego, not another SeaWorld park with a ride of the same name. Pretty sure the ride at San Diego still has all the drops and elevator lift-hill.
Is this one a regular water coaster or is it a dark ride roller coaster like the one at seaworld Orlando and you just didn't put in the dark ride segments.

The only way that they can get away with their version of Atlantic being so bad is because they don't have Disney AND Universal parks less than 20 minutes away.

Roller coaster + Water ride? GENIUS!
The coaster element is surprisingly good and fast. The elevator is a trip. It has a 2 boat lift on each side and bows in the middle.

i like the one in orlando because its a 30ft drop than a 60ft drop,also it shows more like animated things
But this one is much more intense and fun

I still don't know how two trains can go up the same lift. Definitely the strangest coaster I've ever been on.
This ride can have two trains go up at the same time, it's weird I've seen it myself.

It's a custom design water coaster - there is no 'dark ride' element - the POV is a complete recording of the ride
