I lived in Ocean Beach across the bay from SeaWorld ... Lived there 8 months outdoors. I could always hear the people at SeaWorld as well as the seals at night. We slept on beach and in the sand dunes.
Roller coaster + Water ride? GENIUS!
The coaster element is surprisingly good and fast. The elevator is a trip. It has a 2 boat lift on each side and bows in the middle.
Docktor Jim the journey to Atlantis in Florida in my opinion is better because it is more of a dark ride but it was under revamp and they took the scary out if you come pardon them now and then you might agree

Planet coaster needs to add the Elevator Lift for the water coaster and put in the Mack Super Splash Coaster in as well.

That water ride looks fun.
i like the one in orlando because its a 30ft drop than a 60ft drop,also it shows more like animated things
But this one is much more intense and fun
Also Orlando loses more effects each year unfortunately making it more of a dull experience... Has me wishing the coaster portion were longer more and more
@Jacob Bourgoin I say Orlando is my favorite because I haven't been to the one in San Diego, it's also like any Orlando Dark Ride like Splash Mountain at Disney World. So I can say I've been on a real Orlando Theme Park Attraction.

I knew it, a Mack Ride Coaster. I love those Water Coasters, and you imediatly see its made by Mack. If you visited once Europapark, you know what Coasters are Mack creations.

I still don't know how two trains can go up the same lift. Definitely the strangest coaster I've ever been on.
This ride can have two trains go up at the same time, it's weird I've seen it myself.

I went on this ride when I was like 7 or 8 and I decided it would be fun if I sat in the front, I’ve never been on a roller coaster ever again and I’m 14.

I went on this when it first opened, and I kid you not, I have NEVER been more drenched on a ride! People were coming off this thing soaking wet, & the park was selling towels from a gift stand right outside the ride. Did they tone down the drench factor? This didn't seem as bad as I remember it...
I think there is always a random nature to these things...but possibly things like the weight and position of the riders can be a factor, the relative position of other boats on the water etc. Maybe I was just lucky...but I still got wetter than the camera suggested :-)

Same here I actually went on it the week before it opened to the public. My 6th grade class had a sleepover at Sea World and we got to try out the ride before the grand opening. I'm not big into roller coasters but a bunch of girls made my friend and I sit all the way in the front and we got soaked! lol
The one in swsa may not be decorative but it has a great 100ft drop

Are you sure...this is San Diego, not another SeaWorld park with a ride of the same name. Pretty sure the ride at San Diego still has all the drops and elevator lift-hill.

Is this one a regular water coaster or is it a dark ride roller coaster like the one at seaworld Orlando and you just didn't put in the dark ride segments.
It's a custom design water coaster - there is no 'dark ride' element - the POV is a complete recording of the ride

Obscene? I had to add music as the park broadcasts copyrighted music around the park, which means I would be unable to upload any footage, so have to overdub it with copyright-free music...sorry if it's not to your taste!

The music was added as the park was playing copyright music over the speakers (picked up in the recording)...which basically means the footage wouldn't be permitted on my channel - so it's either adding music or having no video to share...what would you do in the circumstances?

What's up with the damn loud music? Is the ride that boring that you have to have your own soundtrack?
No - the park was playing copyrighted music - so I either had to mask it with a soundtrack or not post it at all.

The only way that they can get away with their version of Atlantic being so bad is because they don't have Disney AND Universal parks less than 20 minutes away.
Could have definitely done without the loud music
The park was broadcasting copyright music all around that ride area - if I didn't mask it by adding music over the top I wouldn't be able to host it on my channel at all.

Good video, but I gace it a thumbs down because of that VERY annoying music. I finally had to turn the sound off which takes away the fun of the video.

This is a nice video but the background music is just terrible. Are you sadistic? Why would you even put that music in there? I was going to post it on FB and send a link to a few friends in email but because of the music I won't do it. And it gets a thumbs down.
Music is just personal taste...I had to add backing music as the park was broadcasting commercial music on their speakers which I cannot have on my channel as a monetised RUclips Partner...so I had to add backing music to cover up the original background music in the recording. Sorry if it wasn't to your taste...although you can always mute the sound of course.
