It’s a shame I couldn’t make it, although one of my friends I work with at The Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway did, and even appeared on BBC Reporting Scotlabd
Thanks for this! The trains really evoked the London Underground in terms of look and that Metro-Cammell heritage derived from it. A sense of the uncanny
I will miss those old Glasgow Subway trains. But the new ones that were built by Stadler are very nice and are lot easier to walk through from one carriage to the other. Which makes it lot easier when there is lots of people using the subway. This is what the Bakerloo Line should have to replace the 1973 Stocks.
Definably a fond farewell to them Subway trains in Glasgow, they will be missed. It'll be the same with the 1973 stock on the Piccadilly line in London once's the news tube trains are in serves.
a very sad day, these trains will be missed, they were such a part of the city, and those comfy seats were lovely
ppppppp🚒

They need to be sent to a museum
One has! Car 128 is now preserved in the riverside mueums
@@LeoR11 Cool!
@@LeoR11Its still a shame. One full three car train should have been kept active and should have been used for different occasions in the network.
I saw you on the inner one and I saw me get off
As much as the new trains are awesome I will miss the auld shooglies 🥲
