The tall blue teapot is precious. When you were carefully walking up the steps to the first floor, I was noticing the walls along the stairway. Those walls are now smooth and welcoming. I recall what they used to be like before your magic touch. Every small act of wall-wellness is a permanent component of your future finished home.
I am from Michigan USA and iris's are so beautiful. They are a perennial here they will not rot in the winter when it's cold and they come up every year. It takes a good 3 years for them to multiply.

Another small suggestion. If you leave things in a box, take a photo of the contents & paste a copy to the front or side of the box. You will be able to find things at a glance.
Still 23 days till official Spring (20 March is the Equinox)) and then its also officially Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.....PS You could put a dryer above your washing machine...
