I met him a few times. His brother lives in Dallas comes here a lot to play with his band. He is awesome. He will sign autographs in the rain, drives himself around in a rental car not your usual Hollywood snob.
He really is. I met him at gruene hall playing with his band many times. Asked me where I got my Stetson and actually autographed my Texas rangers edition cowboy hat. Brought it back to him the next year and he signed it again with the year on it. Actually remembered my name. It was great.

Had the pleasure of meeting Robert after one of Stryper shows. He thanked me for coming to the show. Super genuine guy. Also, very present in the interaction. His brother, Michael was the same.
Yes, I too met all of Stryper...and have seen them 4 times...twice in Hartford back in the 80s...then in Hartford again back in 2003...then at the Stone Pony a few years back.

When Dennis says "We gonna go Dutch?" I think that was a reference to Reagan's nickname "Dutch" which was what his father called him when he was a young boy.

One of the best drummers I have ever met is the seller, Robert Sweet. He is also the drummer for a Christian metal band named Stryper. If you want a taste of how good he is on a set of drums then search for a song called Yahweh by Stryper. His brother Micheal is the lead singer for them too.

I've always liked Dennis Quaid (and his crazy brother!) he does a great job playing real people, from Jerry Lee Lewis, to Gordon Cooper in The Right Stuff, Jim Morris in The Rookie, and now Reagan. I'm about the same age he is so I recall the Reagan years well. I'm sure it will be good. (and yes, I know who the seller is too, I figured 500 other comments on him was enough).

I'm sure this was all set up to promote the movie and I'm okay with that. I like Dennis and his bro Randy and what they do. Hoping the movie pays homage to Reagan especially as our country goes Commie, and Reagan warned us it could.
