A lot of people like Elizabeth and Victoria but I've always really appreciated Paul IV's profound role in history.

That basically happened with the Sumerian king list. Archeologists were taking it as real until it turned out someone was clearly having a laugh - half the early kings were claimed to have each reigned 10 or more THOUSAND years!

This is a complete joy. Have I missed a joke with all the Paul's though? Also, this list should really start with the much ignored but nonetheless mighty Athelstan. He took back York and Northumbira from the Vikings, thus uniting for the first time all of what we still call England.

I always thought people should start with alfred the great, the first person to use the title "king of england" or "king of the english". It just gets confusing because of the edwards. There were three king edwards before 1066, yet the first after 1066 is numbered as Edward I

Fliksy was actually the younger sister of Reese II and Paul XV. All the Shadow Men stuff happened over the span of 4 months.
