Undercover Boss is an American reality television series, based on the British series of the same name and produced by Studio Lambert in both countries. Each episode depicts a person who has an upper-management position at a major business, deciding to go undercover as an entry-level employee to discover the faults in the company. The first season consisted of nine episodes produced in 2009 and first aired on February 7

I mean getting followed along by a camera crew isn't strange? They need to do these with a hidden camera if they really want to do a realistic job.

They tell you it's for a completely different show when they are doing the filming even for the employees, my company had them come in last year as "starting over" a show looking to find people who changed careers because of COViD

The sky zone ceo always gave me the creeps. That scene where he finds out he knows who he is and speaks to him one on one was so weird.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to send someone else in there while the ceo watched instead of wearing a disguise and try not to know things
I think part of the trope is having the ceo see what it’s like first hand to work as some of their own employees
Another thing to point out is people perform differently when they're being audited
Tidy the place up, put on their best behaviour etc
The disguises are usually better, otherwise this would probably happen at every job location, every season😂

the most important thing isn't gloves or not... it is thoroughly washed hands. And making sure hands get washed after touching anything else...

The first couple seasons were way better about hiding the bosses it became a running theme in later seasons that they figure it out.
Whoever put this video together needs to pay more attention to the audio, it'll be normal levels during the show parts and then the commentator comes in and can barely be heard.

It’s such a immature thing to do. Let them stay undercover and try to help the company by learning from people who didn’t know it was the CEO.
