Out of all, Kirua is the character I love the most in the series. He has a deep background story, and even if he struggles with his feelings, he always end up choosing the ones he truly loves (which, I noticed, are always Gon and Aruka)
I love the first scene, personally. It demonstrates Killuas confidence in his understanding of his sister, as well as their love of each other. It also outlines, as he said, that he is undoubtedly more Zoldyk than any of those in the family. The way his dad just emotionlessly opens the door, it almost seems like he's simultaneously thinking "That's how I would've played it", and "what have I created? TWICE OVER?!"
Killua never lied to her. It would probably be less stress and complicated if she wasnt around, and he cant guarantee their family or anyone else will ever love her. But he redirects the conversation to highlight that he does love her and will be there for her 🥰 what a good big brother
