She has a lovely voice. It's full of power, and passion. I always like singers who inhabit the songs that they sing. I like the way that, every once in a while she will add the smallest bit of vocal fry into the mix. Mixed the clear vocals up just enough.

Aloha from Hawaii. This song got me thru the toughest time of my life, and God lifted me thru it in these words. This song was initially written around 2007 by Mark Hall *leader of Casting Crowns and Natalis Husband for a young girl Mark new who was dieting of cancer. They didn’t finish it in time for her to here it but it was actually written for the Mother who was amazing in her walk of Faith watching her child die. Since that time it has gone on to mean much to others. Natalie herself was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and told she would probably never be able to sing again. So we all have our storms of life and I think this is just one of those great songs that will be around always. Thx for doing this Maria. And Praise God for all the ways He reaches out to us.

Her song “Held” was one of the first Christian songs I heard that impacted me deeply as well as Casting Crowns music!

This song is beautiful, Natalie was a pleasant surprise, and I only discovered her after the Portuguese version of "You will be found" which you must have heard in English, and which in Portuguese was called "A luz te encontrará" ...and Natalie Grant and Gabriel Henrique's voices were wonderful. I've already marathoned all of her songs and they're wonderful. If you can, react to her Duet with Gabriel Henrique, she was wonderful singing in Portuguese. Tks, I know you love Gabriel Henrique too... Nilo Tavares, From Brazil, Curitiba-PR

Thank you Phyllis and Maria. I needed that song and your words today. We all need to remember Who is really in control.

Casting Crowns originally sang this. I tend to listen only to Christian music, until Dan came along. I wish he would sing more Christian songs. I love his Amazing Grace and his Christmas songs, plus many others, but that's actually how I found him. I do like Natalie Grant, and she sings this well, but I still like Casting Crowns version better.

I wasn't familiar with Natalie or with this song. Both your reaction/comments and the lyrics to this song hit me really hard today. I'm going through my own storm right now, as my husband of 25 years passed away on Oct 2 after an unexpected illness and a three week stint in the hospital, most of which was in ICU. In particular I was struck by the line that says, "Every tear I've cried, You hold in Your hand."
    Thank you for this one.

Casting Crowns does this song better.
