Pile 2 broke me, literally. A month ago or so, I made a cord cutting spell to take away my emotions from my dad's alcoholism and emotional negligence. He's a person who genuinely needs help, but he doesn't even know how to do that. He's been widowed for 5 years now, and he had to deal with the death of both of his parents. Pile 2: Yes my cords to my backstabbing ex. It's not so much me holding onto them, but them refusing to give up on this connection. They want to trap me in a very unhappy situation where they get to use me while giving absolutely nothing.
I no longer am manipulated by them, but I have trauma from their disgusting behaviour and they don't want to leave me alone and keep wanting to fight me.
