  • The military life is very tough on relationships and families, and I know that many of you are wondering how the pipeline works when you have a spouse/kids/dog. Today I'm answering 2 questions I am asked all the time. When do you get to live with them, and when can they visit you after you join the Air Force.
    I am not a relationship expert by any means, but I share some of the things I do to try to stay connected to my wife and kids from a distance.

    I didn't realize how tired I was when I recorded this... it's finals week for me at school, so all I do is study. Just a couple more tests and I will be in my senior semester. So forgive the lack of energy lol.

      Hey, finals week for me as well, so I can relate. I had a question for you though. I know you have brought up CRO a couple of times in your videos. I was wondering if it'd be possible to get a whole video on just CROs in general and the distinctions between them and PJs when it comes down to on-the-job responsibilities, what's looked for in a potential candidate, and their training through the pipeline. I'm currently an AFROTC cadet and I've been looking heavily into this career field and a few words from your perspective would be much appreciated. Huge fan by the way.

      You're fine dude, keep focusing on your goals and I'm glad you're doing great on your education goals. Keep up the great work and if you need to take a break from the vids if you really need the energy/sleep you're healthy is definitely important. Btw I'm glad you made this video to give some valuable lessons as I did learn some new things not just in regards to military alone.

      James Brutus an extensive CRO video would be awesome! Pipeline, commitment, responsibilities, longevity of career in the field, and above is great! Good idea. Not many videos out there about about CROs.

    Brian, let me just say this; I had an ex-gf recently in PA school and she refused to do much else but study because of the rigorous and fast-paced nature of the schooling. I admire how much drive and effort you've been able to put into still helping us out with these videos and maintaining a strict work out schedule/maintaining a family. You're a man that seems to have 30+ hours in each day and I admire that like crazy and look up to gentlemen such as yourself. I'd love to be able to stand next to the elite men in this world with guys like you hopefully soon-on in life. Thanks again, man and happy holidays!

      Thank you very much for the compliment, I really do try to fit as much into my days as possible. I couldn't imagine it any other way though, I hope that all the videos and other content help you to get through, put on that beret, and go save lives!

      I noticed the NFQ shirt, I wonder where How to Be a PJ stands on the controversy surrounding Mike and his NFQ company.

    • @HowToBeAPJ
      @HowToBeAPJ  5 лет назад +4

      As far as I am concerned, NFQ is a company with a message that helps people and I have had multiple conversations with both of the owners. They are good dudes who want to help others, bottom line, don't judge based on some random strangers opinion make your own decision.

    Somewhat related to the topic, when, if at all are you allowed to have a vehicle with you? Is there ever time to use it if you can have one? Thanks
