The complexity of his recipes goes down week to week as his hatred of making a new video each week accelerates. We’ve reached the apex: a recipe of plain rice, plain ground beef, and plain eggs. I literally cannot wait for what’s in store for next Sunday. I love this man.

I’ve lost 40lbs in about 3.5 months, diet is key. We literally have the same diet and calorie intake and I keep it so simple, people say 1500 calories isn’t a lot but when you don’t have any wasted calories it’s plenty. I’ll eat rice/chicken, rice/ground beef, Steak and green beans, pork chop and green beans, tuna, eggs cheese and zero sugar. I started my diet beginning of November at 338lbs and I’m down to 298lbs, dropped 2 shirt sizes and 3 pant sizes.

I think the most important lesson from this video is that everyone needs to find their own “dog bowl” - a meal you can eat every single day, 3x a day if you have to. For me it’s taco seasoned ground turkey with romaine lettuce or rice. For you it’ll be something different. Experiment eating different meals for a week straight and see what you never get sick of. Then you’ll know you have one of your dog bowl meals. Cheers.

That taco season really does go for days, and it's easy to just throw in an onion or bell pepper or some pickled jalapeño or whatever to change it just enough to keep kicking that ball.

This is like perfect video to post my comment. Last year I started to change my habits and my lifestyle, because it took toll on my mental well-being as well. I weighed over 300lbs, and now I am just below 200lbs. It was slow (12 months), but it was really awesome journey. I followed meal plan for weight loss at Onlymeal, exercised like three times per week, increased water intake and fixed my sleep schedule. I sleep at least 7 hours every day. And now I feel like I am in the best shape of my life and I am strongly motivated for more.

I then pissed in the face of the beta male I sold the gym to, worked out in it again for free while he cleaned up, then with my profits, bought a Hummer dealership. Not sure what I'll do after lunch

But there are a few certain easy-to-make items I’ve never tried to make myself yet just due to anxiety making me think “this doesn’t look right compared to what I’ve seen this meal look like before made by someone else” lol.

Rice cookers use magnets that become non-ferrous when the temperature goes over water’s boiling point. So while the moisture content of the container is still high, the temperature is kept at or under boiling. Once all the water is gone (meaning the rice is ready) the magnets release and the switch turns off. Ingenious and simple.

Looking great Matty! I eat rice bowls like that nearly every day. I usually add some veg (onions, cabbage/peas/broccoli, mushrooms, peppers, tomato) and spices.

Ground beef is my jam. Usually I make ground beef and noodle bowls for my family (goulash, stroganoff, peccadillo, chili etc.) but this scrambled egg, ground beef, and rice bowl looks like the perfect breakfast.

Just made this for breakfast today... I did experiment a little though. I used chicken broth in the rice cooker instead of water and added in some creole seasoning and parsley. then, I seasoned the beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little smoked paprika. Finally, for the eggs, I seasoned with salt, pepper, and some more creole seasoning. Once everything was done and added to the bowl, I melted a little cheddar on top... One of the best breakfasts I have had in a LONG time!!

A good hack is to cook the rice in bone broth for some extra protein and collagen etc. I add a powdered (freeze dried) version, but assume it'll work fine with cartons too.
