And with subsonic rounds is a total blast and pleasure to shoot for a 12ga. It looks like a monster but is really well balanced. Did the same to a Shockwave and is only 38” long!

I picked up a classic SPAS 12 a couple weeks ago... I thought that was expensive but I know those trap guns can run well into 5 figures. So to answer the question, I would take Colt's Beretta because Matt's gun is easily obtainable.
There are "Cheaper ones." If u can call them that. I shot Trap and skeet for 3 years and my parents generously bought me a Winchester Model 101 Trap. It's by far one of my favorite guns we own today.

Hey Matt, I'm Australian and I own a magazine fed shotgun except it's a bolt action. I can also get a version that is lever actions. But get this, we can't own pump action shotguns. We can own bolt action, lever action and break action but not pump. Even though bolt action is basically pump action. Australia government logic 101
in Australia, yes can own a 3-4 shot break action on a category A. pump action with less than 5 rounds is a category C and you must prove why a category a or b can't be used. (it does vary state to state quite a bit since the Adler re-classification bullshit).
J Sep well if you didn't know there are two games of skeet. American and international. American uses targets flying 52 mph while international does 60-65. You also shoot more pairs in international skeet and have to shoot low gun.
I don't think a large open expanse of land is best for zombie defence regardless of the firearms and skill of users. Small entry and exit points will be the best defence for a zombie invasion... Not that I've thought about this much or anything...
Go out shooting if you can, and learn everything about firearms as possible. In my opinion that’s the huge problem, people getting more interested in and educated on guns is great. I love my Mossberg 500 and have often wondered if there's a way to get something like it that's magazine-fed. But seeing how awkward and hard to load those mags are has pretty much changed my mind. It's not really necessary for me anyway, since the Mossberg is my dedicated home defense weapon, and if I'm somehow attacked by a group so numerous that 8 rounds won't stop them all, I always have the AR handy as well.
