Cypress Trestle Bridge - Mountain Path Trail, West Vancouver - Vancouver Trails

The Cypress Trestle Bridge has been built along the Mountain Path Trail, a route in West Vancouver that connects several neighbourhoods.
The main parking area begins from the Cypress Pop-up Village, which is located near the first hairpin turn on Cypress Bowl Road. The trail is about 2km, uphill from this point to the trestle bridge.
There is a limited number of parking spots above the trestle on Chippendale Road on the north side of Cypress Bowl Road.

Walked along the trestle bridge and trail today for the first time. SUPER disappointed: Trees have been fully clear cut for development almost all along the upper side of the trail and well above into the hillside. (And the road is below.) All old trail connections uphill are obliterated. Most of the route is paved, widely paved. Not an experience of nature at all. Quite contrary to the original promo for the development. Will not return: It could take 100 years to get any sense of nature back in this area. Hope the intense clearing and developing does not result in dangerous slides or washouts.
