the reason that they didn't put that song is because it's waay to effing awesome and it will just take over the whole show. they knew that each episode that the viewers will just demand to play honey sweet tea time and the ratings will go down. So for the good of the show, they decided not to unleash this song to the unworthy ears of the filthy casuals.

I get budget but my only big criticism for K-ON is the fact it avoids animating the instruments at every given moment when thats the whole point. I get its more of an iyashikei, so I dont expect music every episode but when there is, I wish they actually cared to animate it 😭😭😭
