    Those red Aircon hoses should be saved. When used with R134a they are leak proof. You cant buy them new from aeroquip anymore but one of Mercedes aircon designers is adamant that they are indestructible and as such should be saved. Heads should be retorqued too as they become loose. It needs to be done every 50,000 miles. It's not unusual to find them so loose you can undo them by hand.

    when are you going to make a video with the engine running?

      Not exactly sure right now. I don't want to have too many jobs up in the air and not completed. Once the engine bay is in primer I will turn my attention to making up the engine test stand. First do a compression test then decide from there. I can't wait to see that thing fire up. Have it running and check that everything is running correctly. I have a full time Job and have to use my time carefully to keep the project moving. Hopefully sometime this coming Winter. Cheers John.
