🎊 🎊 🎉🎉CONGRATULATIONS on interviewing one of our biggest icons Sir Oliver Samuels❤ Dutty Berry you’re now harvesting the rewards of the seeds planted Boxcova
Americans movie makers very close minded. They would rather have a black American pretend to be Jamaican. They are not that open to using anything or any person that truly represents the beautiful part of Jamaican culture 😢
Berry it’s very refreshing to see you on social media . It’s rarely practice in our young generation, everyone gravitating to negativity so please keep on pushing on. You are loved
10:40 That's his personality, he's obviously down to earth. Even his simple use of language ( him twang ),shows how humble abd personable he is. When you have it,there's no need to put on
This was an amazing interview that made me reflect on my upbringing in Jamaica and about our dying culture that’s not been preserved. Definitely agree things need to be properly archived because Jamaican culture has been very impactful.
Don't say Oliver, its mr. Oliver and or Sir. Unless, Mr. Samuels say to called him Oliver, eeh sah, before the interview. You get what I am conveying. Overall, nice interview, elevation in the skills set. Can't wait to see who will be next on your interview list of guests 1 ❤
A true legend in comedy. My kids and I loved the movie "Front Room" and other comedy skits he has done. Thank you, Mr. Samuels for making all of us laugh. One Love ❤️
Great conversation. Oliver needs to take you on tour as his opening act to do your countdowns of what is happening in Jamaica, showcasing your dancing skills and getting the audience to participate. You have an engaging personality and would set you onto higher heights
I loved and appreciated this conversation @duttyberry and Sir Oliver Samuels. One of the notable things I took from your conversation is sharing the culture with our current and future gent so that they know and understand what we had and have, that they will let it continue to grow and not die.
Who owned the rights to the Oliver At Large plays? Those plays needs to be unloaded as a 50 yrs of Mr. Oliver in the business. Let us petition for these plays to be shown on the Ja networks, utube, and on DVD or other Media platforms

i think you homework question was clever. oiver spoke about the lack of documentation in preserving the culture but this episode (and perhaps channel) has done a great job of documenting some key figures in the cultural space. i hope you'll do the homework too and maybe do a follow up interview or presentation on some of the names he mentioned. good job
Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do. What is Oliver doing as a legend to help preserve the culture, rather than complaining. My heart bleeds when I see the condition of Ward Theatre ; a place where we always look forward to every new year to attend Pantomine. I always wonder if the actors who have passed through the halls of that building cannot come together and plan for its renovation. I’m sure others would join in and make it happen. People may not want to go downtown but it should be preserved as an Historical monument.
I find that the younger Jamaicans are losing their identity and culture. They are so exposed to the American culture that they have totally adapted to it and lost themselves totally to the point that they gravitate towards the negative side.
When u podcasts peeps interviewing real legends...uno nuh really sit and think about the real questions???? Bro a pure crap u ask e legend eno ....Bex yf 😢😢
Berry, part of conducting an interview is allowing the interviewee to express their full thoughts before hitting them with an additional comment or question. You are talking too much which is disruptive and makes the interview choppy. Lastly, you sound like the hype man at church. When Oliver speaks, you exclaim. Almost felt like I was in church when the deacon or elder is telling the parson to “preach parson”! You appear star struck during this interview and trying a little too hard to relate
@@catmanrovers5681 I will agree I was definitely excited but several other moving parts on the day ( which u would be clueless about) did impact how this chat went. That’s aside, I appreciate you watching
