DDG 28 ? This is not true at all, people who love cars can either collect cars and keep them originally how they were, or collect cars and customize how they want. It goes either way. And this game whether flop or not, is not at all a joke. It’s on of the ambitious games in the past decade.
I kind of love how badly this video aged. Was still cool wandering around NC and just being stuck in photomode for 250h :D Still missing the features that got scrapped, especially dynamic crowds and cops and just an AI in general :D
Most of this was just based off lore from the tabletop series rather than a preview of the game itself, but yeah, its sad how much is missing. I hope the next update is substantial.
I can't wait for modders to mod in a Judge dread. To be fair, Night city is so close to the Megacity of Judge Dredd but surprisingly more stable with more Augmentations available for the populace that it's an overall improvement.
Maybe middle class has been changed with robots that complete the tasks, idk. Like in the car factoryes we have today but fully automated. Who knows, we'll have to wait and see.

Other than that, I've heard that in the Corporate life-path, the player is given like 5000 eddies in paper. Then there's the 48 minute demo where V gave Malestrom gang a chip that contains 10,000 eddies. So yeah, I think you can indeed do transactions with NPCs in this game.
Honestly the plight of the poor actually seems to have IMPROVED, based on what we've seen, compared to what was in the 2020 books. Incidentally, I doubt we'll even SEE children beyond a couple main characters. Why? Well, if you read the 2020 books, they... don't usually turn out well.

Super, SUPER wrong. Capitalism isn't what's being criticized at all. -punk genres are ALL about a dystopian view of the world. Economics is only a small part of it, and there IS cyberpunk aimed at communism, socialism, and even fascism. Capitalism is only the most common because it's the one everyone is most familiar with, and therefore requires less immersion-breaking exposition. They all tend to highlight the advantages of the upper classes and disadvantages of the lower classes, by carefully exaggerating them. There is NO system that does not have an upper and lower class.
I like the idea of hacking people causing them to fight for me or light on fire and shit, or as shown drop heavy weights on a guys neck. Being super strong though also sounds appealing as well, but I'm assuming you cant be a bit of everything you gotta carefully choose.
That would be crazy if you could experience red rooms or torture people in the game as a corpo that would make the game crazy in depth and give the game a realistic dark side feeling that only the rich get to experience like in real life although in real life it’s disgusting in the game it would seem as if your seeing the dark side of the world.

Apparently all everything we've seen so far is just from the prologue. All the trailers, and anything from the few people who got the 5 hours of hands-on time is all just in the prologue. And if you go through the videos on this enough, you find out that there's multiple ways to go through this. (Important note for those of us already loving Jackie: rumor has it that if you handle things right, he can survive the entire game.)
@@TOFKAS01 i mean some people can handle the upgrades better than others. those with more capable bodies would still be the stars. not to mention the control and discipline it would require to master skills and details while having enhanced power speed strength. and the body mods dont take away from the mental aspect of the game. if anything the mods would make sports 1000 times more entertaining or leagues could ban them the way they banned steroids. even if they didnt they could also play on a larger surface since they can cover more ground faster and throw and kick farther. means bigger arenas and stadiums and better games

The only time I was extremely hype for a video game was Grand theft auto San Andreas.
I, as a former Russian who does not support the Putin regime and fled from orcland to Kazakhstan because there was no money to run anywhere else and the maximum that is enough is to run in Kazakhstan to buy a bun of bread, I can understand the inhabitants of cyberpunk because Russia is generally fucking Fallout 86 dudes I really want to move to Japan or China, there is anime there, beautiful yandere and honkai. The only thing I took with me to Kazakhstan was a computer and a phone, and all the rest of my property remained in this orchestra. Okay, I’m not talking about myself here, but in cyberpunk it’s much better because there the USA and orcland do not rule the world but Japan and China rule the world so I would prefer to be reborn in the world of Cyberpunk to live in a world dominated by Japanese Chinese corporations and which is aesthetically reminiscent of those anime that I watched as a child, namely Ghost in the Shell and Crisis bubblegum

Apparently all everything we've seen so far is just from the prologue. All the trailers, and anything from the few people who got the 5 hours of hands-on time is all just in the prologue. And if you go through the videos on this enough, you find out that there's multiple ways to go through this. (Important note for those of us already loving Jackie: rumor has it that if you handle things right, he can survive the entire game.)

What does it matter if anybody can buy artificial strength?
@@TOFKAS01 i mean some people can handle the upgrades better than others. those with more capable bodies would still be the stars. not to mention the control and discipline it would require to master skills and details while having enhanced power speed strength. and the body mods dont take away from the mental aspect of the game. if anything the mods would make sports 1000 times more entertaining or leagues could ban them the way they banned steroids. even if they didnt they could also play on a larger surface since they can cover more ground faster and throw and kick farther. means bigger arenas and stadiums and better games

@@TOFKAS01 shiid me but like i said the leagues could ban mods the same way they do steroids and keep it solely based on natural ability which i would imagine would be fairly popular in a city like that simply due to the rarity. Then again tho ive only watched edgerunners and have basically no other knowledge of cyberpunk so idk exactly how they think and shi
Well, boxing and combat sports still seem to exist in the CP universe so it wouldn't be far fetched to say there may be some other sports out there.
Would love to see if skateboarding ever survived into the "future" of Cyberpunk.
