I'm a simple man, i see a Scav, a rain of fire and led ensues. I loved this game. Warts and all. But one of the things that disappointed me and left me hanging, is that i really thought you would be able to pick your gang at one point. I even made my V have a certain specific look so when the opportunity came i'd join the Voodoo Boys. They didn't add that as a proper system. You can make your character look like a Mox, Valentino, Tyger Claw, 6th street, aldecaldo, voodooboy, through the character creation and equipment. But you can't have Maelstrom mods for instance or look like a jacked up Animal. It was a bit of a bummer.
I kinda wanted to exist an italian mafia gang that would be main rival of the Tigerclaws or Valentinos, I'd definitly join in. i mean, imagine Vito Corleone versus Yakuza in the future
From the info of this video I'm allying myself with either the valentino's, the moxes or the voodoo boys. There are not true good guys in cyberpunk but these guys seem the least terrible.
The voodoo boys literally want to tear down the firewall protecting everyone from the rouge AIs, i am gonna ally with netwatch and help them. The voodoo boys have to be stopped or the world is gonna end ^^

The pick-up artist clip was super weird to watch, but the 2077 trailer theme really tied it together, haha! I really like the idea that the 2077 Voodoo Boys came in and took over the 2020 Voodoo Boys. Maybe the influx of Haitians saw the caricatures running around in mock outfits and decided some correction was needed.
my headcanon for the Voodoo Boys is that the refugees showed up in Night City, heard about the previous Voodoo Boys gang, and a few of the more organized and morally grey refugees teamed up and systematically killed off the sadists then assumed the now-free moniker.

@@Alf763 You can't join gangs, but you get missions from them, and you can choose to betray/not betray them during those missions. That way you can support the gangs you want to.
Wish you can allie with the groups with specific bonuses to whoever tickle your fancy but alas, not on the game. Maybe future updates will add in an alliance system.
The only gangs I will be supporting are the Aldecaldos and the Mox, the Mox are not doing many bad things and only attack if you mess with them and the Aldecados because they have that cool nomad girl (if anyone has her name, plz reply) and the wraiths are basically the Cyberpunk version of terrorists.
