Id say you couldn't be further from the truth :D. Im using blendspaces for locomotion, anim logic in the animgraph, and I use blueprint to control the capsules movement and behavior (and also to play additive montages for turning in place but no root motion)
+KingTumTum101 does your system includes a way to blend betweben poses to use as animation ( ala overgroth)? or are you planning to develop such a feature?
Diego Antonio Rosario Palomino No, it does not, and at the moment its not on my list of things to do. Pose to pose blending as seen in overgrowth has its advantages and disadvantages. For this system I'm sticking with traditional animation cycles for locomotion, as it keeps the animator in full control of the final look. I do however use very simple additive poses to modify the base animations and keep the Animation Workload light and simple.
