Voivod are a band I need to get more albums by I only have the wake I am late to the party with them and wish we had more beers like that here in England thanks Jurgen and happy Christmas to you!
As you can imagine, everything by Voivod is great! It took me over 20 years to convince my best friend, now he loves them and owns every record. And I tell you, he HATED the band, hahaha... "Oh well, wherever you are, Voivod´s gonna get you, no matter how far"...
Why can I taste smoked ham? ha the after taste comes back to me whenever I listen to Stormwitch! Ed is an awesome guy, he sent me some very cool stuff in the past, totally unnecessary but very much appreciated! Voivod is a band I just can't click with, tried and failed a few times. They got the full HRR treatment, such attention to detail, love that label!
I can picture you listening to Stormwitch, suddenly burping and thinking: "What the...???" Hahaha.... That VCLT was totally unexpected. Ed and maybe Darcy will eventually come over this coming summer so I can get them addicted to that "Schlenkerla" beer as well. I´ll get you that Voivod thing one day, trust me, hehe!!!
Nice Voivod pickups Jurgen! I really got into them over this year. I got the boxset of the early albums and I really enjoyed Rrroooaaarrr and Killing technology. Those were my favourites. Really cool you were gifted these special editions of these albums. I have the No speed limit live album too, comes with the boxset, great live album! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
