Hi, in 1982 I was bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider. Dr.was baffled & not encouraging. Older local cattleman (In Cody, Wyoming) gave me bentonite clay. Said he used it on cattle. I know that’s what saved me. Doctor was beyond impressed. Blessings to you.

When the older generation dies off, this kind of information is gone! Thank Goodness he was there to help you. Did you take it internally or put it on topically? Or both?

@@pamelapiller3002 The infection was so intense that I would sleep a couple of hours, wake up to site pain and put hot (boiling water) hot compress on it. It would drain (beyond nasty) and then we would pack it with a paste of Bentonite . It came in an ointment form, but now I "stock" it in powder form. It mixes with water for external application. Additionally, you can dissolve some in water (at least for a couple of hours, and drink it. It is internally cleansing and I've heard can even combat E.coli. Brush your teeth with the powder for great cleansing and gum health!

Hey Just FYI in case anyone needs to know! .... I recently got covered in fire ants, calves and feet, working in the garden. The itch was so intense and I did not have time to go get my clay. I instantly thought well, beach sand pulls out jellyfish stings, and my elderly Uncle used to say "Rub some dirt on it" when we would get scratches and cuts and such. So I grabbed my sandy damp soil and started rubbing all over my legs and feet. We have a lot of sand! The exfoliation felt fabulous for the itch. I let it dry on there like you would clay mask. It instantly took out stings and the next day there was absolutely no sign of bites anywhere. So if you are in a situation somewhere, Rub some dirt on it!

We used bentonite clay mixed with myrrh, comfrey root, goldenseal, bayberry root and slippery elm (all powders) on a deep wound (from abscess surgery), and it worked great. Then we found organic papaya and mixed blended papaya (with a skin) with the same herbal powder mix, and that worked, we felt , even faster. Don't get scared when you see yellowish coloring dispersed in healing deep wounds as that is the new layers of skin building. Doctor said wound was healing beautifully.

I've used Stacy's tooth powder recipe and she said don't use metal and don't let it go down your drain. So, I'm glad you touched on the metal part. I got my tub of bc from Redmond. I only had ground Cloves instead of the EO. I do like the flavor and sensation the Cloves produce. But, I'm still trying to work out a recipe that will get my husband on board. That will probably mean using a Peppermint, Spearmint or Cinnamon EO. Once again, a great video full of good info!

So now watching the rest of your amazing video with a knee covered in mud ! LOL... Thank you so much for the inspiration gorgeous Rain Country lady. PS I will give it 20 mins or so and let you know how the experiment goes.
I am absolutely blown away. I left the B Clay and water paste on my knee for about 30 mins, As soon as I got up to walk to the bathroom, even just the initial standing up at first I noticed I did it normally, as opposed to the struggle it has been the past 3 days. Oh my gosh this stuff is so awesome! I bought some and have used it for my face. Also I seem to be allergic to mosquito bites. One little bite from those little buggers makes an insane itch for two three inches around the site. I have tried using alcohol. I have tried baby aspirin paste on it, just to name a few. Anyway I got mosquito bites on my thumb and the side of my index finger. Of course, per usual, the itching was insane.
Before watching this video, I decided unknowingly, that my clay could also be great for 🐝 stings, mosquito bites etc. So why not. I made up some mud I plastered it all over my finger and my thumb and the area and I included my face. I should have taken a picture, anyway no worries I won't do that to you! I am now itch free! The cool thing about this video was that it made me realize that I can mix up some clay to have it ready and I can include it in my bug-out kit. Sorry for the pun but I couldn't help it. I use the clay from Redmond Salt

Clay is an abrasive. Using it 3 days in a row removed too much skin. I can attest to its use on cuts scrapes etc. I am extremely accident prone. Occasionally I'll get on a project and look like I ran my hands through a meat grinder. Chisels, gringing wheels, sharpening knives , sheet metal. You name it iv cut myself on/with it. Also fairly infection prone. I found s few years ago applying blue or grey Clay to wounds, allowing it to dry, and gently washing it off really helped me to avoid infection. Never tried it internally yet i also use raw locally sourced clays (probably wouldn't suggest this) so I'm not about to put in it my mouth...intentionally. Clay is amazing especially blue clay If you can aquire it. Even a simple washing of your face makes you feel like a new person. Highly recommend.

I've used bed tonight. Clay with coconut oil and pepperminoil for my tooth powder. And I use it 3 times a week. Just because my gums are very sensitive. And I don't want to overscribe but it's very beneficial. I agree.. I've also used it in my homemade deodorants. Because baking soda makes me itch and gives me a rash. So bentonite clay, I also use for my masks as well as people. Give me those stupid gel masks with the tissue paper inside of it from the Dollar Tree store. Thinking they're good for my skin, and they are not. The bed tonight, clay is way better.. So a 100 %, whatever you're saying you're experienced. I heard that we shouldn’t allow bentonite to dry on the skin as it can damage it. If I use it on my face and allow it to completely dry my face burns and turns strawberry red. Don’t allow it to completely dry. Mixing with honey can help keep it moist. Just FYI. Thank you! 💜

Other than having issues when I use it too often in a row (skin turning red and feeling a bit sore) it has always worked good for me but the honey idea sounds great! I had considered coconut oil as well to keep it softer. :)

I've read that the pH of the clay by itself is very alkaline, too much for our skin. I have the Aztec clay, and the directions say to use ACV, which is obviously acidic. When you mix 1:1 clay (alkaline) to acv (acidic), the chemical reaction between the two makes the resulting mixture's pH to be a lot more skin friendly. Sometimes I put a bit of aloe vera gel in after they do their little chemical tango to make it a little more soothing. 😊

Oh my face turns red to you but I’m pretty sure it’s just because how do you ride it gets and then if you move at all like if you smile it kind of pulls your skin and it’s like in the winter time when your face gets really dry I kind of like hurts if you leave it on too long and it dries too much but once I rinsed it With cool water and moisturized.... it disappears within 15/20 min maybe. I just wanted to let you know I’m pretty sure it’s just from the drying effect and pulling on your skin when you move or just from drying that is making your face red. It does shrink a lot and pulls on your skin but oh my God it is truly magical I just got it and I’ve had this pimple on my cheek for four years and I used it for three days and I think it came out I’m still watching it to see what happens and if it’s truly gone. Since the clay hardens when used as a clay mask, would it harden up when taken internally in a drink? We have been using the foot powder Heidi, and it has helped with Rick, as the doctors are not sure what type of rash he get, they are thinking he has ecaema, and it itchy and he scratches so hard that it bleeds. Well since using the foot powder with tea tree it has been very good. We have had many test done on him to see what the problems is and we thought it was dairy, and they said he did not have a dairy allergy ; but when he eat ice cream, half and half, whipping cream, cream cheese, sour cream, that is when it get very bad.

Hello, I was reading about y'all's situation and from my experience it is eczema. Sometimes those test are not accurate and if you or your husband knows that when he eats certain food, he breaks out then go with your gut. I started eating at a new Chinese restaurant and within a month my hands were so bad they were cracking in the bends of my fingers. The doctor looked and said yep that is eczema and nothing he could do. That was two years ago. I finally figured out the same three things that had not changed. The tap water we use, the bottle water that we get from Sam's and the Chinese Restaurant. I stopped eating at the Chinese Restaurant and my hands started clearing up. I still have some reactions to certain foods so I avoid them.
