This soundtrack is so majestic, it perfectly conveys the vibe that you're in the presence of something heavenly, which is what everyone thought the crystals are. Damn this game knocked it out of the park is so many aspects.
Out of all the amazing songs in the ost, I think this is my favourite. Just so emotional and impactful. My second or equal favourite is "Ascension", the theme of Bahamut.
@@desruisseaux18 It was the first complete and well designed game since FFX. This is a big achievement. The game isn't perfect, but it moved the ball forward. It will be fascinating to see what happens with FF17.

@@Bahamut998 You definitely should! It can now even be played solo almost 100% of the story (NPCs can join your party for dungeons instead of players - like in any other FF game). And the story is probably the best FF story ever told (although it does start slow).
@@Bahamut998 oh yes. FF14 has 4 expansions with post release patches - each expansion+it's story patches is like a new full Final Fantasy game storywise. The main drawback is that the vanilla story (everything that happens until the first expansion) is a bit bland. But you should just view it as an introduction to the world and characters (also - it's been revamped to be shorter so it's much better now). All in all - the whole of FF14 is like ~4 Final Fantasy games.

The game isn't perfect but god damn the soundtrack is, it's stunning! Everything just seems perfectly designed for the scene.
To me it was by far the best FF game since X. The story is incredible but only few soundtracks got my attention.
