I am about to make this upgrade in August! Have all the parts (finding the extended bolts and getting the spacers fabricated was the most difficult part).
On CT, a couple members said this upgrade was very noticeable.
I'm also upgrading front brakes to 350mm front rotors and 6 piston Brembo.

@@t7p_club I didn't know 390mm caliper would fit my 2014 Touareg?? I guess you have to remove the brake shield. What other mods would be needed?

I read that you must put the rear caliper in maintenance mode (with VCDS) before carrying out the operation because of the electric parking brake.

В чем смысл данной замены? Колодки те же, цилиндры и давление тоже, тормозить будет не лучше стандартного диска. Ну да чуть меньше грется будет т.к. диск больше но сзади это вообще нафиг не надо. Плюс 70-80% процентов работы делают передние тормоза, а не задние. Выглядит как пустая трата времени, денег и сил.
Вообще самое слабое место в любых тормозах - сцепление колес с дорогой, лучше колеса качественные. В торможении первым теряется сцепление с дорогой, включается АБС, что говорит о том что даже стоковые тормоза более чем достаточны.

Это если тормозить в пол,а если длинный спуск на серпантине? На самом деле зад это дополнение к передним 6 цилиндовым+кодировка. Зад-Увеличение радиуса для лучшего охлаждения
@@t7p_club при затяжном спуске вроде двигателем рекомендуется тормозить.
great video. i heard for rear brake, parking brake would cause some issue and it might require VCDS to do some control. i did not see this in your video. so nothing to do with parking brake? the reason i am asking is my first brake/disc replacement was done by a shop while after that, there was parking brake error on dashboard and it took weeks for them to clear the error.
Родные болты не подойдут? Нужно обязательно длинные покупать?
Некоторые ставят родные, но логичнее же компенсировать разницу, тем более цена ниочем

Excellent job, why 358mm discs rather than the 360mm that most websites list?
Looking forward to see if you do the front to match with 360mm discs.
360mm discs are thicker and probably you need different calipers. 358 is 28mm and the 360 one is 36mm.
What Touareg years model will be suitable this upgrade? 2017??

Where are the longer bolts and spacers from?
the spacers are mine. the bolt numbers are indicated in the video. porsche and audi etron.
Nice job, Alexander! Might try it. I just changed the pads and the discs are not in the best shape. Do you feel any improvement?
the improvement will be unambiguous, especially during emergency braking due to the diameter. better cooling.now we need to modify the front ones)

Да. Площадь соприкосновееия колодок остается та же. Увеличивается только диаметр диска.

@@ZAVych новые колодки,канешно чутно сразу.Толк будет от экстрим. торможений.Что бы прям вау эфект нужно и перед менять на 6 поршней,кодировать
