As a South African I am glad that the Boks won but they left a lot of points on the field and discipline was not exceptable . Hope the new team will pin it!
Mark, you have to remember the players left in SA with injuries and suspensions as well as those injured on tour: Kitshoff RPG Mosterd Lood Kleyn Wiese Ben Jason-Dixon Evan Roos Cam Hanekom Faf Jaden Hendrikse Jordan Hendrikse Andre Esterhuyzen Canan Moodie Edwil van Der Merwe And now Rassie has given all the other(young) players in the squad a chance to play the second test vs Aus.
Good to be back on your channel Mark, Rassie is building depth early in this World Cup cycle. Jo Smit will make a huge difference with Australia picking up from a very damaged post Eddie Jones era.
Rassie announced the team for Perth today. Ten changes! Two flyhalves, Pollard and Libbok on the bench with Sacha starting. Not sure I like all the changes but Rassie knows better than me!
Mark - South Africa is blessed with a serious abundance of talent and with a coaching team that thinks laterally. Rassie, challenge is to deliver a squad in 2027 RWC that can achieve the hattrick - he has to cull the older talent, maintain some of the current talent that still will have legs and bring in the new talent. BTW, is there any rugby being played in Mexico???? Thanks for your 5 pesos and go well
I'm a South African that lived in Mexico for 2 years. My folks stayed in CDMX for 7 years and I visited during that time. Rugby is really not big there. I'd show friends highlights or full games and even the more open minded guys and gals still gravitated towards American Football if not soccer. Cricket too, some people play but it's not really locals and that's a bummer. Rugby is reall
Señor Mark thank you for your endorsement. The real quesstion will Australia be ready for 2027. Unit then it is about building a team that will be competitive
Mark a little hard on the Boks defense when Australia scored there try. Springboks were down to 13 players. I'm fairly certain that SA with 15 players Australia would have been kept scoreless.
I always enjoyed your pronunciation of "Arendse", but Mngomezulu is my new favourite 😅. To be fair I am South African and I am not doing much better than you on that one. Keep up the great videos. Been watching since the world cup.
Lol...we are tough on our heroes as I do not know how to deal with loosing a game. We going in with a new style of play and hope that we can nail it down soon as its making me nervous. Love Faf and Reinach, but do not think they fit in with the new style. Good luck boys. You can do it. Also Sourhern Hemisphere fan and great respect for ABs...so hoping for an AB win too even though Argentina is also Southern Hemisphere. South Africans always rooting for ABs though when Boks arent playing
Sixteen RWC winners in the SA match 23, Australia zero? Little bit more changes than expected, bigger fish ahead, we trust the boss. Great discussion as usual. 👏🏻🍻🇿🇦
Hi Mark, agree with most of what you are saying and thought Rassie would use this week to work on some of the issues, but no. He came out today with a new team and to be honest i will have regurgitate it to try and even understand it. I am sorry that I have had a comment about the ref will not do it again, but the ref is such an integral part of the game, one cannot ignore it, but I respect and understand your approach.
Hola, yes Rassie rings the changes, video coming soon on that. I hear what you say about refs, and by all means I welcome comments from all of my viewers on that topic I am just not going down that rabbit hole.
Reinach is an amazing rugby player. Faf is a good 9 but Reinach would be great at 6-15. Incredible pace, nice for our rush defence cover. All our front row players are awesome. We good and ok elsewhere.
Hi Mark - Agree with you 100 % on Cobus Reinach, there are far better players than him in the Bok team. Just a bit of help with Sacha's name that you are butchering unintentionally (It is a hard one...lol), break Mngomezulu into 4 syllables MN - GOH - MEH - ZULU, practise the 4 parts then say it fast, it will come, keep up the good work mate
Reinachs distribution is slow esp compared to 'The Pass' Aaron Smith, Grant Williams is the call. Disagreed on RG, I felt PSDT at 5 means you got an extra loosey at the breakdown, RG is not a workrate guy.
Rassie made 10 changes to the team. Very little experience in the forward pack, maybe Rassie just want a more competitive game. The team he picked is basically the same as the team that played against Portugal. I hope it doesn't backfire.
My feeling is that SA will not be up to it this coming game against the Aussies. They often lose their urgency…. As if they have it all covered. But we will see
I always enjoyed Kobus Reinach, he has huge wheels, but recently his delivery from the base of the scrum has been off the pace, and the same goes for Faf De Klerk, Faf has a huge defensive game, but the core responsibility at 9 is quick ball, and Grant Williams is the quickest of them all, so the team on the field needs to be managed carefully
Hi Mark, thank you for a great channel. Just a bit of a hint, Sasha's surname is pronounced with the first letter M silent. Then start with pronouncing 6:39 the N; N. goh. meh 6:39 . zulu. Keep safe! 6:39

Agree we where supposed to win by 73-0
@@DansonObakengKontle-y4h 50-0... def not 73-0

Hola Durban. Hope all is well

Canan Moodie

Great review Mark, some good insights, thank you.
Thank you very much Peter.

Goeie Video Mark!
Danke.
Great analysis Mark, Boks still have some work to do. Finishing being one of them
Thanks for the comment

My video will be out about that as soon as the Wallabies name their team.

Thanks for your 5 rand worth..., yes Mexico is into rugby, but getting left behind with the North Americans and Argentinas, Uruguay, Chile etc.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.
You need to review the match again dude. While those who you mentioned were good, Dixon was (by FAR) the standout. Phenomenal performance!
You can call me Mark.......I am a bit past the ¨dude¨stage.
Thanks for sharing your opinion, appreciate it.
@@insiderugbywithmark no disrespect intended Mark. But my point remains. Cheers

What do you think of the bok team for second test
Hi Mark, What is your opinion on the Boks selection for Perth ?
Video coming on this one, I cant keep pace with Rassie.
@@insiderugbywithmark 😅
About the bomb squad, 100%, Marx came on after 30 minutes, and the only lock we had on the bench was Moerat, so the effect was not what was expected
Thank you
RG Snyman is in the Hospital Squad at the moment

I have decided to do so. Thanks
