Shaista Kataraki To be honest I read that wrong and in my mind I said it correctly. I am supposed to be a reader het I can’t read. Quarantine is gettin to me 😂😩
Strange Bookish Child I have already told all my friends to put “Too much coffee and not enough pancakes” on my tombstone but now I need to just have a list.
There is a 10 percent reason of why I watch his vids and that 10 percent is what you just said XD His channel helps me find books that I could hopefully get one day and read
I definitely recommend Howl’s Moving Castle, it’s such a good book! I honestly could read it over and over again without getting sick of it. I’ll probably do a reread soon, so thanks for the reminder 😂
warcross and radio silence are two of my all time favorite books. warcross is a really cool sci fi kinda thing, and i love the vr that it's got. radio silence is refreshing bc the main relationship in it is a friendship.
Me: *sees youngest of 7* Me: Ginny Weasley! Me: *sees time travel* Me: Never mind The book: *Harry Potter and the Cursed Child* Wow I've just blocked the existence of it from my brain entirely 🤣🤣🤣
I love Harry Potter. I hate Cursed Child. Sorry, it just kind of ruined the series, in my opinion, or it was just because my expectations for it were too high and I got really disappointed.
You should definitely read Inkheart and Scythe! They are both sooo awesome! Also the Scythe description was mainly puns and stuff that you will only get once you've read the book- I was confused until I thought about it for a while.
I had to read “Le Morte d’ Arthur” for my Medieval Lit class this past semester. “Le Morte d’ Arthur” specifically is about King Arthur’s last battle that inevitably leads to his death. I LOVED it.
I've "read the movie and seen the book" version of Howl's Moving Castle, can highly recommend both! They are rather different in tone and plot, but not so much that you have no chance of recognizing the similarities. Howl is a major drama queen either way ;)
Scythe is one of my favorite series. I still have to read the 3rd one but it’s brilliant put together and the I recommend to anyone who likes Dystopian novels.
I squealed when he read mine! I did the Scythe one. I tried cramming in as many clues as possible 😂 I thought he'd read it, whoops! It makes no sense if you haven't lol. I can't lie though, I was pretty proud of my clues hehe. You either get out or you don't! If you've read it you know 😉
i didnt get it at all, but after i saw i was scythe i went back, and DAMN! it took a 'toll', 'island"):,'rings', 'borrowed names' and 'does it resonate with you?'. I LOVED this book, it really made my day. tysm!
I love the description for scythe, they were smart enough , they wrote toll into their description. Loved it. And Howl's moving castle is just an amazing book, and equally amazing movie. Ghibli movies are love. This was such ana amazing video. Also hope your 30 years come soon
I loved the book for Howl's Moving Castle! Personally, I enjoyed it more than movie as I found it funnier and wackier. There also isn't the war aspect in the book (since Miyazaki loves to add some war into his movies). Sophie is very sassy and Howl is a massive flirt in the book, but I think treating the book and the movie as very different stories is the best way to go as they have different themes and directions. There's 3 books in total and I can't wait to get around to the 2nd and 3rd!
The throne of Glass one reminded me of the song " If I killed someone for you" so now that's stuck in my head thanks for that (also it's a great song by Alec Benjamin and you should totally listen to it)
Field notes on love is really good. It’s a cute romance book and you should definitely read it. It’s just as good as windfall (one of my fav books). Warcross is also such as good book, again one of my favourites. I’m onto the 2nd and final book in the series (duology). It’s definitely exciting and has lots of plot twists.
I loved this video! I added three books to my wishlist because the descriptions that were on here were so much more intriguing than the synopses on goodreads!
_Guess the books:_ "I've got a ton of issues and I'm super lonely (which results in me thinking I love the first person I see) but I've got epic and deadly abilities that I wish I never had." "I travel from here to here to here to here. I'm royal but not royal- a prince, monster and mail man." "I have a thing for bricks and plans. And a different thing for a girl I can't touch. Emotions are an illusion and money is everything to me. Until you hurt someone I care about. Then you're definitely dead." "I have a tiny huge crush on my friend. I had encounters with pirates and I've got pretty big daddy issues. My sister is a figurative queen and I'm a figurative catch. Also alchemy might have ruined my life. Europe too." "Magic is apparently an actual thing. All powerful people keep attacking schools because what's more frightening then a bunch of kids? I have a wicked mark and two great friends." 1. Shatter Me 2. A Darker Shade of Magic 3. Six of Crows 4. The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue 5. Harry Potter
Ok you should definitely read howls moving castle, it’s sooo good!!! It’s probably my favourite book of all time honestly and I listened to it on audiobook which was amazing also.
Yes! Please Read Howls moving castle! I adore Diana Wynne Jones! My favourite is actually her Chrestomanci series, but howls moving castle is easily in my top 10 favourites list. I haven’t found really anyone on RUclips who have discussed Chrestomanci, and I would love to hear your thoughts on it!
Howls moving castle is an awesome book, you would love it because it goes in depth about Sophie and her family along with more of a relationship with Howl. Not to mention she is a sass queen and I loved it!
Warcross is so good! You should definitely give it a shot! When I heard you say the description of it I instantly knew what it was and was like "ohmygod that's such a good book, I loved it so much"
You should definitely read Radio Silence Jesse! I recently read it and fell in love with it, I think you might really like it because it features a beautiful friendship!
I love looking at the books on the bookshelf in the background and seeing which ones I own and have read. It's a fun little game while watching the video.
Yes! Read Howl's Moving Castle!! Like you said it really is quite different from the movie but I think the book is just as amazing and I absolutely love both film and book :)
I have been binging your videos during quarantine and buying so many of your recommendations! Currently in the midst of reading Six Of Crows and I love it!!
I've been re-watching your videos and you have gotten me my reading desire back. I recently went through a reading slump where I just couldn't focus and after watching a few of your book related videos, I actually finished two books in two days, so thanks! Now, I'm reading Heart of the Moors by Holly Black and so far, I really like it.
I really enjoyed Warcross even though I personally was not a fan of Marie Lu's other books and I thought it had some interesting questions on ethicality of using technology in certain ways.
Read Warcross! It’s SO good! And it connects to her Legend series!!! Also, Howl’s Moving Castle (the book) has differences from the movie, but both are amazing!
Love Dianna Wynne Jones! Howl's Moving Castle is worth the read. It has a sequel (maybe 2...it's been a while). I also love the Crestomanci books by her; there are several and don't always follow the same characters.
When I read Warcross I LOVED it. The second book wasn't as strong but I would definitely recommend reading them both. It keeps you on the edge, it's got a little romance, villain and a really cool world to discover.
Jesse you should move radio silence up in your list, i know it doesn't sound super intriguing but once you've started it it's so hard to put down! I love it, same with I was born for this by her as well.
You should definitely read Warcross. I just finished it today. I’d been looking for it for a while at my bookstore and it was never there so I finally just ordered it on Amazon. It is perfect, but aren’t all of Marie Lu’s books. Definitely something I could recommend to anyone
"I haven't seen the book or read the movie" should be on a hoodie. I'd buy that.
Clari no joke it should
Maybe an artist for a Redbubble hoodie or something. Would definitely buy it too.
I had to read that sentence five times to realize what was wrong with it

Yes yes yes! I just recently read this after watching it on Netflix and OMG it gives me life🔥🔥🔥

me too, i couldnt get ahold of toll yet. but this is one of my favourite series!
when you realize what mistake you have committed after approving the description of cursed child
“You had me at I’m in love with my worst enemy.” Is such a raw and underrated line. It sounds so much like the beginning of a cool book.
Go read Scythe! And Thunderhead and the toll. You're welcome.
Yes. You should definitly read Howl's moving castle. It. Is. Awesome.
A bit wierd, but awesome
Ok but when Jesse started making goat sounds... 🤣
Quarantine is driving all of us mad
