So far i saw 4 videos like this one ! A Volvo VNL , A Mack , a Kenworth t680 and this one ! That narrows it down to Volvo and this beauty , better interior quality and things like that can really make the difference ! A truck driver spends a lot of time in it , must be pleasing to the eye as possible !
I prefer a dark interior. With tan, dirt and such shows more if that makes sense. I'm a jump in the truck and drive kindof guy. I actually get under, over, all around my truck and trailer checking it. Like physically touch it, and check things. I don't even wear gloves when I fuel and all that. So tan interiors wouldn't work for drivers like me. They only work for drivers that basically like to take a shower before entering their truck, I think.
I'm planning on a Volvo, but mainly cause I worked in a Volvo mack dealership, but truth be told I'd really like that exact peterbuilt truck for OTR as a O,OP.
For as many hours as you'll spend in the truck, both working and relaxing, you'd better get what you really want. Besides, it seems there is minimal upfront cost difference, and guaranteed much better resale when the time comes. Total cost of ownership is likely less in a Paccar product. And everyday you'll feel better going down the road. PS No, I don't sell trucks or have a relative or friend selling; just the way it seems to me.
So which is the more reliable engine then the Cummins X-15 or the Paccar MX13. From all the reviews I've read it's a toss up basically! 50/50 chance? Absolutely a gorgeous truck
not a bad truck, but the carpet in driver compartment would be a nightmare, especially pulling tanks with getting in and out with mud on the boots. I'm not a fan of the SmartNav system. It's quirky, and would prefer just a standard radio.
That peterbilt truck is definitely awesome I keep it just like it is great video brother if I get back in trucking again that's the truck I'll get like the color inside an out an being a 18spd love it
I like tan/saddle best. Grey will show less dirt. Tan tends to show dirt. Especially on seat and door handle areas. In my experience. I’m sure this is at least part of the reason.
@@crocket1971 a friend of mine in Canada runs a fuel delivery company, they had straight Peterbilt trucks with MX engine and said they were mixing oil and water, too much blue smoke just like in DAF in Europe.
Nice truck but can I get a truck in royal blue or forest green exterior color? And can I get blue interior color? Can I get owner operator spec truck without the gps. And get all real gauges?
Beautiful truck. I love the color name "Diamond" black! That is genius. If u put the word "diamond" in front of anything it increases the perceived value. Maybe i'll change my name to "Diamond Molly". 🤔🤔🤔
Well, if you like Diamont Black, maybe Diamond White will be cool as well. Pay attention to the competition on this video. Thanks for watching! ruclips.net/video/v7uPSJ2I7fE/видео.html
Disk brakes have more responsive stopping and with disk you don't have the S-cams to maintain or wear or slack adjusters to deal with basically nothing for DOT to look at during inspection.
They usually get in through a small hole. That's how they like to do it. You must have something it really likes. If I were you I would plug your hole. That can usually keep them out. I would avoid getting soap and water around your hole, as that would make it really easy for them to slip in. You may want to possibly put petroleum jelly around the opening as that can at least avoid them dragging blood all over as going through such a small tight hole can really tear things up. Also I would avoid having food if you have a problem with them squeaking into your hole. It can get really messy that way. Keep the area around it clean as well so you can possibly avoid the dirty ones. When your done make sure to clean your sheets because with enough of them coming in the mess gets bigger every time.
Out of all the trucks that PeterBilt has ever built, this model 579 is my favourite,I just love it.
I really like your videos! Thank you for taking the time to post them. It is this very reason someday I'm going to buy a truck from you.

I'd imagine most people don't pick tan for the same reason ppl don't in cars. It shows dirt so much more than Grey or black.
Another way to tell the difference is the badge on the intake black is performance silver is efficiency
That's a really nice truck
,great coverage on the engine upgrades, pull toy here.
David, I always appreciate your comments. When you have time, can you give me a call? 970-518-5520
Well I have a 455hp 1850 torque and it says efficiency series, ending in 5 can that be bumped up to 565hp and is the pdi tuner void warranty?

It's a beautiful looking truck
Can you configure which 6 gauges appear together on any given screen?
Nice truck J W but i need a heavy haul. Truck something with 4 axials
Could you mention def and dpf deletes even though you cant do them??

I like this truck very much !
Very nice, thanks for the tour.
BTW, the CHECK ENGINE Light... awe Nevermind 😎
Too Funny X3! Good observation.
Is that table he popped out already delaminating? Looks like it had a big bubble in it
i like brown cleaner looking

Steven Gabrielson I’d say cummins engine brand new is good!
Cummins hands down!
I like the interactive guages.
Thank you for the engine details
What's the mpg difference between this 579 and the Ultra Loft 579 with the epic package?
Can you order the stacks with full fairings?
Beautiful
With 72” high rise sleeper double bunk with a 244 inch wheelbase?
My dream truck.
Beautiful truck!
Does it comes in Automatic and what is the fuel range both auto and manual... Do it have an 5th wheel air release & airbag raise button?
Can we listen to the motor in the engine bay and leave the camera and rev it up as high as it goes?
Where is the tv mount
Can they put the fridge on top and the closet on the bottom?
What I want to know is why nobody's never talk price
Bigfoot Trucking IKR IVE OFTEN WONDERED WHATS THE SECRET🤔
X15 performance has a black badge on the side of the motor by the oil dipstick. Efficiency is silver
Those things are growing on me.
Great video. Sound clarifications

I like the sound of that truck
I like the 389s but damn if I don't like the KWs sleeper, especially the work station with spin around passenger seat, better.
Have you seen the W990 Sleper it's really nice.
Awesome truck
Very important question I didn’t hear, mpg please?
Well tan is good for Ferrari's not trucks in my opinion, I wouldn't say it's a high roof. It's mid-roof isn't?
U could do so much more with that space
is there a slot for a microwave?
Still do good truck wow !6
That peterbilt truck is definitely awesome I keep it just like it is great video brother if I get back in trucking again that's the truck I'll get like the color inside an out an being a 18spd love it
Looking to get one of these!
I like the truck, comes in ten speed? I suppose I could learn a 9 speed/18 speed. Is it speed limited?
Dealers don't govern trucks. Crappy companies do that. Lol
Hey brother, do you have one on 13 speed with red inside?
Do they come automated

Grey reminds me of a coffin interior spooky
Seriously ! Plastic DEF tank ? How come in Europe Mercedes trucks can do a single split tank for DEF/diesel , but we can't her in the US.
safety as def mix with diesel under great pressure it explodes
hunzolee , because swift drivers will but diesel in the def partition
European tanks are plastic lined. Dep is very corrosive i.e. plastic tank. Also you can thank califuckyou for the emissions crap. Just sayin
Which engine would be most fuel efficient, the Cummins or Paccar?
Personally I think the 579 looks better with full side fairings.
Paccar is getting pretty Phenomenal mileage in the Aero package trucks. Cummins is still getting better resale though.
Those Paccar engines in Europe are mixing oil and water, DAF just can't get it sorted. Buy a Cummins.
@@theworldaccordingtochris4370 Paccar adapted the Daf MX engines for the US market! Don't change a good engine!!
@@crocket1971 a friend of mine in Canada runs a fuel delivery company, they had straight Peterbilt trucks with MX engine and said they were mixing oil and water, too much blue smoke just like in DAF in Europe.
Hear about Paccar MX is more fuel save, 350 pounds lighter and much quieter! More innovative engine!
Could a 6'4" man like myself stand up in the sleeper cab part of the truck?
evilwarcow yeah you could. I’m 6’3 with extra space when I was in one
Nice truck but can I get a truck in royal blue or forest green exterior color? And can I get blue interior color? Can I get owner operator spec truck without the gps. And get all real gauges?
I wish it had the wood shift knob 🧐
Tan shows the dirt more.
Do I got a lot of miles on that truck
With a 13 speed manual?
It's an 18 speed, has the grey switch. 13 has a red switch
Lighter color. Can see a lot better at night.
Хорошая машина. Привет из России!
Can you get a 579 like that in desert turquoise?
I can build you a truck in any color my friend. I did a chalk grey Porsche color the other day. We matched within 5% .
Possibly the grey doesn't show dirt as much
Frumos. Frumos. Super. Ok...........
What's the price on this 579
muy bonito c@mion cuanto cuesta esta unidad
JANER MENDOZA chingos de $$$
What's the average mpg

it comes that way.
Well it needs a front nose corner mirror kit, secondly how are disc brakes better especially if they get cold and wet...
Disk brakes have more responsive stopping and with disk you don't have the S-cams to maintain or wear or slack adjusters to deal with basically nothing for DOT to look at during inspection.
Dumb question by a dummy (me) what is shore power? What does it do and/or what is it for?
Me and my dad also got an peterbilt we love peterbilt's are's is a 1999 model
What makes this an O/O spec truck?
It’s Pimped out lol
The only thing that would made this truck better if they used carbon-fiber in the sleeper instead of plastic.
I have a 579, and I have a mouse in my cab , how and where is a mouse able to get into this cab ???!!??
