I enjoyed this old-time radio show, Boston Blackie, it's been a minute since I've heard this program. Always, a pleasure to hear these shows and chat with the host and subscribers. Take care 📻🌹
Really like this show. Probably my second favorite next to Bob Bailey’s Johnny Dollar. Richard Diamond would probably be my #1 except our ‘hero’ is constantly getting beat up! At least he should occasionally be quick enough to get the first hit in on the bad guys! Lol. Poor guy.
You have given my grandchildren and I our imaginations back It was by sheer coincidence that I found you. It's become our ritual to take the longest road trips (from my home 🏡 to theirs) As we listen, you could hear a pin drop. Thanks 😊 again
Boston Blackie and Richard Diamond were the best detective radio shows. I like at the end of Diamond how he usually has a song at the end for his girl Mary. And both had rich girlfriends lol
I love the organ music. It brings atmosphere. It was of the time, though probably a bit hard on the modern ear. Boston Blackie is one of my favourites!
That was an interesting background, of the author. This is what I like about this type of entertainment, back story, has always fascinated me....nothing salacious .

I am 79 years old my mother and I listen Boston Blackie when I was a little girl of 10.I loved it ❤️ 😊
Your just little older than me !
I like the music. I love the way life was during that time period.

The Oregon music is what makes this show great
Doing a little more research. I'm enjoying these stories.

Hey - this is time traveling - the organ music is part of the experience!!!
Thank you 😊
LOL, my husband always cracks wise when the organ music comes on "boy they really like that organ music". I like it, it goes with the times 👍💝
Thank you. I share your attitude.
I always liked Chester as Boston Blackie.

Yes I see what you mean about the organ music. It's ludicrously scary🤣🤣🤣‼️.

I have grown accustomed to the organ music and now actually enjoy it. Does anyone know the name of the organist? Such passion in the playing!
I knew the name at one time, but it escapes me at the moment. If anyone else remembers, please feel free to jump in! 😃
My favorite radio show have never watched the movies only book and radio show
Maybe "perpetrating" not "perpetuating" in your description. 🙂 Thank you for the fun radio shows!
I tried it , but Grammarly keeps correcting it.🧐 Now I'm totally confused!😀

Maybe he's perpetually perpetrating! 😀
@@HearthandHomeEntertainment 😅Love it!
The organ music might just haved saved radio dramas.
Before the use of the organ, shows used full orchestras which was very expensive.
Wouldent be the same without the organ.
couldn't agree more!
I've never seen wouldn't spelt like that ever. Thanks 🤪🤣
100% it is part of the entire experience of the old time radio programs.
Holy crap on a stick! I can see why people complain about the organ music. Couldn't afford an orchestra so they got one guy with a very loud organ.
Is that the
Golden Gate Bridge.?
