This is a great video. I came to this video after watching your observation about Jasmine Choi’s posture. And the body mapping exercise is so soothing great for anxiety too! ❤

You are great! You must be more than a flute player. Amazing. I really like all your videos, and am learning a lot. Thank you so much. Dan Berendt

Thanks Tatiana, excellent video as usual.
Mostly I play sitting down, yet, just great tips.
Once again, thanks, be safe and may God bless you.

A good idea when talking about relaxing the body and self-perception is to try progressive muscle relaxation (Jacobson), it helps in getting rid of residual tension and teaches you to prevent it and relax on command.

Hi Dear - I'm a self-tough beginner player. Why do I feel muscle-ache on my tongue after literately just playing 5 minutes on higher tones? I've noticed I allocate my tongue more forward, but the pain annoys me with my daily practice. Thanks

You are contracting the tongue too much to increase the airspeed. Think of flattening the soft (upper) palate of the mouth cavity. You are trying to muscle the upper register with the tongue, rather than maintaining a constant airflow (from the pressure of the lower belly/diaphragm).

And yet another day with your glasses. Is this an Autumn thing for you? Looks like an upright bass sleeping in front of you? Guess Covid - 19 has him tuckered out?
