One other thing about the points that people don't understand is that it pays to save them up. The more you have the more each point is worth. Meaning it's not $3 off for every 100 points. If you save to 1000 points, it's not $30 off-it's $50 off. Check it out at 1:09 min in.
True! I'm going to pin your comment 💖 I've let my points accumulate to over 4500 and they have a value of $270. I think they max out at 2000 points = $125, so I've just been letting them sit. But if I had redeemed them every $100 instead, I would have gotten around $135 value instead of $270. Letting them acrue is beneficial!
You look absolutely beautiful. Love your fresh look and the reddish pink color blouse and lips! You look so stunning and fresh and beautiful! Thank you for all the tips
That blouse reflects all the right tones onto your face! And the jewelry is superb! Are you trying to distract us away from your makeup message? Thanks, Stephanie!
I haven’t bought any make up other than mascara this year. Use up what you have folks. I keep watching for new foundation and then decide I like my bare skin better than even MAC face and body which says a lot for 63 year old skin. Tinted sun screen brows blush ( which last years ) mascara out the door
I have been watching your channel for years now and have to say that you continue to get more beautiful and don’t seem to age at all! Your lip looks are always spot on and truly enhance every look you choose. Thank you for your enjoyable and educating videos. ❤
Great list of products for summer, Stephanie. I knew you were going to say the Hourglass primer. I bought it quite some time ago because you loved it so much. It is really good. Another excellent one and done eye shadow cream stick is by Jane Iredale, also at Ulta. I only wear matte shadows and she has matte crayons. So silky smooth, never patchy. Love them. Tree Hut's moisturizing Shave Oil is so good. For Summer the Coco Colada scent is amazing!
THE GOAT MASCARA ROUTINE: Lancome Lash Primer with the Waterproof Panorama Mascara is hands down the best I have ever found! My lashes look phenomenal and there's ZERO flaking or smudging and it lasts all day. I permanently threw away my Maybelline Great Lash which is way better than most mascaras on the market. I have tried high end and low end and nothing beats those two products when used together.
Full N Soft mascara has been my holy grail since the 90’s! Unfortunately, they discontinued the black/brown shade, but it’s just about the best mascara I’ve ever tried. Love it! ❤
You’re also wearing sunscreen under it too right? If not you should be applying two thick full finger lengths worth of it to your face neck and ears, which is a LOT of foundation coverage!
Because of your videos, I found my holy grail mascaras years ago. I LOVE the UD Perversion waterproof mascara and the Maybelline Full N Soft. I use one or the other on a daily basis. Nothing else compares to these in my opinion.
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 I have just found the Shishedo Self Refreshing foundation I love it the finish is perfection and I can wear all my more dewy K sunscreens that I don’t like alone lol it’s great with my summer fave the P.Calm Water Barrier!!! Love ULTA!!!!
DRMTLGY made their universal tint SPF in MATTE!!! It’s amazing to soften out my skin but not melt off in the Houston humidity! It’s my new holy grail ❤🎉 And why aren’t we screaming about their C Balm for the lips!?! I’ve already ordered 2 tubes bc I can’t be without 💐💕
Thanks for the recommendations for primers. I live in Mississippi and everything just melts off. I 've been really liking the Joah Perfect Complexion BB Cream.
Thanks for sharing. I too need a good waterproof mascara to keep my curl. I've been loving the air volume but I do have to scrape off the wand a bit. I'm so, so grateful you're here !
I have a question referring to the use of Primers. I never know at what stage of my morning skin care routine to apply it, it never fits in my routine. After I put my moisturizer, I apply sunscreen, often mixed with a little bit of make up. Do I put the primer after all that, or before the sunscreen?
You get dryer in the summer? I get oilier! Ick. I live in a Houston-esque climate, so pretty similar to yours. This is the time of year I swear by Wayne Goss' trick of powder under* the foundation. 👍 Love the shirt!
@@StephanieMarie Ah. Well, there you go! I'm mostly Irish on one side, Polish on the other, and *fair skinned red head on both sides. Four walls and a roof are my favorite sunscreen. Or an electro magnetic force field! 😂
I bought double wear once. It was about six years ago. It felt so thick and tacky, like it didn’t want to dry down. Maybe I got a bad bottle. I think I am going to try it again in a new shade, too.
Check out my video on how to apply it without looking cakey! It's been a game changer for people! It has a runny texture though - try it again. You may be surprised! :)
Hello! Did you try the new-ish ELF "Soft Glam" Satin Foundation? If you did, I missed it. I'd love to hear your review of its performance in humid weather. ❣ (Plus, we're skin tone twins---fraternal, not identical---which I find incredibly helpful when trying to choose shades.)
@@mistytells Thank you for that information! I got 24 Light Warm and it's the right depth but a liiiiiiitle bit too yellow for me. I'm waiting for the 25 Light Neutral to compare.
This is the first time I didn't have the specific date and product information to film with - only the overall week information - so I'm not exactly sure about the NYX. The earrings were Kendra Scott from last year :)
Lip color is in the description below the products I shared :) Unfortunately, the earrings and necklace are Kendra Scott from last year. Here is the dress: flyingtomato.com/products/id20447 💖
Everyone pushes sunscreen but don’t I have to keep putting it on?… How is that supposed to work with makeup on? I honestly am really trying to understand. By the time I leave with makeup on, it’s time to put it back on. Am I making sense? It seems redundant but I do apply it the once before makeup. Kind of seems like a waste of product if it’s not going to be effective.
It's easy to get overwhelmed by all the sunscreen stuff and with reapplying, etc. The bottom line is that it's better to wear it than to not wear it. If I'm wearing makeup and spending time outdoors or running errands or something, I throw a powder sunscreen in my bag to dust over my face when I need to touch up. If I'm inside all day, I consider myself good with just that base layer. If I'm inside most of the day and running somewhere hours after that initial application, I'll dust some over my face before heading out the door. Supergoop and colorscience make nice powders that make touching up easy. :)
There are spf setting sprays as well. I like elf and pacifica but I have no idea how they are on sensitive skin, my skin isn’t super sensitive. They have alcohol in them but I figure it’s going on top of all the layers of skincare, sunscreen and makeup and not going right up against my skin. I still figured I should mention it.
The difference is negligible. SPF30 blocks 97% of the suns rays and SPF50 blocks 98%. American Academy of Dermatology recs using broad spectrum SPF of at least 30 daily when you’re going outside.
One other thing about the points that people don't understand is that it pays to save them up. The more you have the more each point is worth. Meaning it's not $3 off for every 100 points. If you save to 1000 points, it's not $30 off-it's $50 off. Check it out at 1:09 min in.

I always save them up to at least $125. It’s pointless to me to use anything less.
@@StephanieMarie I NEVER knew this until just now and I’ve been shopping at Ulta for years! I guess I never paid attention!

I find the Rommel Stay matte primer has a pretty good staying power at a drugstore price.

Day to day, more surface oil. But our skin can get dehydrated and parched from the sun :)

The Nyx Buttermelt bronzers and blushes don’t seem to be part of the sale. 🙁

I think the companies all look at each others prices for skin tints. Take the highest and mark them all high. Geeez. Ha ha
