I want to share a true story. I’ve been massage therapist for 39 yrs. In 1993 I had a client his age was 70yrs old. He told me he was diagnosed with a irregular heart murmuring condition at age 7yrs and would only live to young age…and was kept from activities like running etc. At age age 10 he decided to join in with the Polar Bear Club Swim….
He claimed that the Polar Bear Club swim is the base reason he proved his doctors wrong. He said “I outlived my doctor that said I would not live long”
Swimming forces deep breathing/holding and is excellent for regulating the body. Need more research on swimming related health benefits.
We need less research and more people doing it.

My daughter was struggling with depression and self harm... We started the wim hof method together last winter. We live in Canada and have a cold climate. My daughter's sense of well being changed dramatically for the better. The ice baths helped her feel the release of stress and inner pain... She no longer feels the urge to self harm as the ice method has provided a healthier outlet. 🙏💖

Wim, I'm not sure if it's related but I coincidentally began your breathing method 6 weeks prior to a cardiac stress test for Chest Pain. By the time I actually performed the test, the pain was gone and the technician was amazed at my performance as I'd reached the maximum rate of the stress test. This was 2 years ago, no recurrence of chest pain. Always assumed I was the only one that was cured of a heart condition due to WHM.
I have rheumatic heart disease I want to try wim hof method I want to go back to the normal life do exercise with no worry about my heart
ANYONE who doubts the Wim Hof method, including cold therapy... needs to look more in to it... it has REALLY changed my life and more than one way... I'm 40... feel younger than EVER... and encourage as many people as possible to apply to their daily routine... THANK YOU WIM HOF!!!... keep up your GREATNESS!!!

I am of West African descent but William Huff's breathing technique has really played a big part of me and my daughter's lives. My daughter was diagnosed with air hunger, she went almost two and a half years without hardly being able to breathe 24/7 and his breathing methods has helped us even though we are of West African descent.

Beautiful. I will do some research to try with my 12 year old special needs daughter as her seizures aren't responding to any kind of treatment... We are trying from conventional to extremely Holistic Healing, spiritual, prescribed drugs... She eats a overall clean diet but that's next another detox, strict diet and now perhaps we will start introducing also the wim hof. My husband and I already practice and my other daughter does a bit of the ice baths but the one with special needs always refuses to do it.. So a bit of work ahead of me to be creative to inspire her somehow to get started!

There is no doubt that wim hoff has a mission to help those who seek his breathing method has been one in saying it works and is a big help to them ,we just have to try and do it...
This is wonderful. It's refreshing to see people looking outside of the box for healing, which comes from within. Wim has helped me in so many ways. Mentally and physically. I have messaged Wim before, for my son who has vitiligo. He is only 9 and it's spreading quite quickly. He does the breathing method and is usually up for a cold shower. With lots of positive reinforcement. As it's autoimmune, does anyone know if this could help with melanin production? Any answers greatly received. He is not affected by it yet, but I fear once/if it spreads to his face and hands, that he'll be upset. Please help Wim!
Techniques like Wims, reset and rebalance the immune system. Your Sons' condition being auto-immune needs help to do this.
