For what it’s worth, the Cardinals used to play in SunDevil Stadium-so it wasn’t strictly a college stadium. It was also a prominent multipurpose venue at the time. Huge concerts (see U2 Rattle and Hum movie), etc.
OU’s stadium looks pretty similar irl to those renderings. If you want a fact that not a ton of people know - OU has a pen underneath the stands for the ponies that pull the Sooner Schooner
You keep calling Sun Devil a college stadium. While true, it was also an NFL stadium when it hosted SB XXX, as it was the Cards' home field from 1988 - 2005.
This vid fails to mention that Arizona State also reduced capacity from c.73K to 57.5K by removing the upper deck seats behind the north end zone, in favor of a massive scoreboard.
An oldie but a goodie is that Jones stadium in Lubbock made history by moving the east stands back 150 feet and creating a bowl below street level to expand from 27,000 to 41,500 seats. It was quite the deal as they cut off the existing pillars at street level and just moved them back a few feet at a time.
I actually got to march at Eastern Michigan as a part of WMUs marching band and it was the weirdest place I’ve EVER marched. Only good part for it was since there was a track it was easy to get into position to get on the field but that’s it

A little extra tidbit: LA Coliseum will actually be hosting its 3rd Olympics. It also hosted in 1932.

By the way, dog leg stands are stupid. You’re pushing the crowd noise away from the field. Why do you think Neyland is so loud?

been loving ur videos lately bro. keep it up!
I always love hearing about ohio State Buckeyes Stadium.
EMU is getting rid of the track and installing new turf this year. They’re sticking with the grey. It’s part of their branding and identity now.
That Florida state roof idea looks like old Texas Stadiums roof.
I thought Stanford was in Palo Alto not Stantford.
“Look at this thing! Isn’t that a weird thing?” Is not a “fact.”
Kansas University?

Miami is a joke and will always be a joke. I have been buying players since the early 1980s when Schnellenberger was there
