Logical size for your terrain. I love that feeder trick to help keep them safe when moving the tractor. Very cool! Please give us a video when you do the butchering and processing of the birds.
Thanks for sharing how you built that chicken tractor. That is the type we are considering on building as well. So glad to see that your ducks are well. Keep up the great job! :)
awesome! big fan of chicken tractors even if we don't use them, appreciate your time, effort and hope the days are kind for you folks, bless up from the Chilcotin eh and keep up the superlative efforts! 8^)
My experiences with Cornish cross is that they don’t eat enough grass to make a difference. The only reason I moved them daily was because they would kill the grass with the foot traffic and poop if you left them in one spot for more than a day. The last two weeks of their happy little lives I had to move them twice a day. But they are great for preparing a garden spot. Their poop will burn the grass and weeds up and leave behind plenty of nitrogen for your plants
Are you still satisfied with the tractors. This is exactly what I had in mind even thought about making one just for a few laying hens as well to rotate in the garden when needed
We built a small "chicken tractor" for our small dogs to let them be outside during the parts of the day when we are not home and to keep them safe from predators like coyotes and bobcats. Then when we come home from work we let them out and take them back inside the house.
nice job man! thanks! 👍
Thanks, Jason! Small chicken tractors rock! :)

Thank you! We will definitely video the butchering and try to edit out the most unsavory parts. But there will be a video!
Ty I know I'm watching several years late but this tractor is just what we want to build ty God help us we lost our way
God bless
Putting the feed, like that, in front is pure genius!
ha thanks! Every now and then I have a good idea...
That is a pretty sweet design...they seem pretty sturdy!
Thanks! Sturdy and light! :)
Great idea! I love this design, good size for our family. Thanks for the instructions.

Thanks Chili Bu! Appreciate it!
Well done my good man.
Nice! Love those little styles of chicken tractors, I need some to just hold my kids while I work 😄
🤣🤣🤣
Will probably need some weight to those containers then 😏

Great Job!
Thank you!
Great video, thank you for the layout of the materials, best ever.
Good job, sir
I like it the dimensions on these. I think I'll use these to base mine designs on. Thank you!
Thank you! 😎👍🏻 🐓🐔
Yeah that fedder trick its great 👍
I didn't see any dimensions. Is this about 3 x 6?
Nice video!
Thanks 🙂
Hi nice system, is it worth putting a net underneath too? In your opinion? Because in my area in Sardinia it's full of predators
Are you still satisfied with the tractors. This is exactly what I had in mind even thought about making one just for a few laying hens as well to rotate in the garden when needed
Yes they are still sturdy and strong but light enough to easily move.
Can you give the dimensions?
Very nice video. Hope you get 10k subs by the end of August.
Thanks!
What are the dimensions?
does nothing try to dig underneath and get in?
No because we have an electric fence around the perimeter of that area and our beagle is always around to scare off would be predators.
What was the individual sizes of the wood if I may ask
Ooo I love this Don! Our tractor is so cumbersome I doubt we will use it on the next batch of chickens. 🤦♀️
Thanks! Yeah sometimes smaller is better. 🙂
@@LittleMountainLife oh yeah, I've come to realize that. 😂
Can you put the list in the notes or somewhere please ?
How can we get the demensions for this tractor?
Good Job how long does it take for the grass to grow back so you can move chickens back on it?
I personally wouldn’t pass over the same spot within the same 6 month period.

Where can i find dimensions for this project?
6' long, 3.5' wide, 2' tall
How long does it take from hatching to harvesting please ? Thanks
8-9 weeks
bagaimana jika hujan? air bisa merembes masuk melalui bawah....apa ayam akan sehat?
Normal rain is fine but I’d make sure the tractor isn’t in a low spot with standing water in especially bad storms.
