What’s the best yarns for smaller amigurumi? I don’t use chunky yarn. I like use much thinner yarns that are more of a regular size yarn where it’s recommended to use around 4mm or 5mm size hook.
So I bought every color of Parfait Chunky, hoping to love it. However, the sewing is making me crazy. It does not go through my stitches and then shreds. Do you have any tips for using it for sewing on attachments?

That would depend on the look you're after. I used to make mine out of wosted wait yarn or DK. Switched to no2 nylon because I wanted tiny and something durable. I am no longer liking tiny! That's why I am here, I wanted to know what chunky looks like and I am loving it!

I have a question. Anytime I try to use a chenille yarn for amigurumi it snaps when I try to pull the magic ring closed. Do you have any advice?
I do the chain 2 method with chenille yarn, maybe try that out!
About how large are the dragon plush or do you have any recommendations for making the plush roughly 12-16” tall?
It’s about 8 inches tall if you use the recommended yarn. I would use sweet snuggles or parfait xl yarn to make it bigger
