Also, to answer your question on how to progress, you're going to need to kill all 3 mechanical bosses, and afterwards, you'll get an in game message telling you where to go next. Also, it is worth at least considering crystal assassin armor, it is genuinely my go to armor set to fight the mechanical bosses because it's set bonus is incredibly good, ESPECIALLY in higher difficulties. If you want an explanation as to why, slight spoilers after this point if you intend on playing on expert mode:
There's an item that drops from eye of cthulhu in expert mode and beyond called the shield of cthulhu which is genuinely one of the best accessories in the game and you will be using it from the point you get it, all the way until the end game. It's an accessory that gives you a dash which makes it easier to dodge enemy projectiles and the people that are really good at it can even parry them and hit the enemies back. The reason why crystal assassin armor is so good is because it's set bonus gives you bonus damage to all classes except summoner, and gives you a dash, freeing up an accessory slot. It is one of the best armor sets in the game (in my opinion) and I will not tolerate any slander 😤

At some point you might wanna try fishing. There's an npc that can be found sleeping at the beaches at the end of.the world who assigns you fishing quests once an in game day which there are a bunch of achievements related to. You can also sometimes fish up enemies during a blood moon, one of which being a mini boss that also has an achievement.
Fishing is very boring, admittedly but does have quite a few useful rewards, one of which being loot crates loaded with useful potions and fish that are used for crafting some of the best potions in the game. You can also get some better wings from doing fishing quests in hardmode.
If you want a way to speed up doing fishing quests, you'll want to craft a bed using silk and wood at a sawmill. A sawmill is made using chains and wood and iron/lead bars i believe? Silk is made at a loom using cobwebs. A loom is made using wood at a sawmill. Sleeping in a bed passes time much faster. Also it might be worth it to craft a gold/platinum watch. You can make it using chains and gold bars at a table and chair. It tells time and works from your inventory. The in game day/night cycle works like so: daytime is from 4:30 am till 7:30 pm. So each new in game day starts at 4:30.

ohhh okay so fishing is useful then haha, im so used to it in most games where its an optional kinda side thing. @kit_115 don't worry, it is still a side thing, if you weren't playing for all achievements, I probably would recommend against it in your first playthrough as a lot of people hate it lmao. If you want to get started with fishing though, you'll need a fishing rod and bait, the higher the fishing power you have, which is just combined through bait power and fishing power, the better chances you have of catching things and the better chances you have of getting crates.
So, the best and easiest fishing rod you have access to without doing any quests is the mechanics rod, which is sold by the mechanic on certain phases of the moon (yeah, I know...) so just check with her from time to time to see if she's selling it. If you're impatient, you can either get lucky as shit by finding a fiberglass fishing rod in jungle chests, or just craft a fisher of souls using demonite bars. For bait, you'll need a bug net which you get from the merchant. The most common bait you can find is worms, which will either be crawling on the ground during rainy days or hiding in funky looking rocks on the ground. Combine worms with fallen stars to make enchanted nightcrawlers.
Additionally, you can find an item called can of worms in wooden overworld chests. You may have found a couple already, I don't remember. They have a bunch of worms in them.
After you do 30 fishing quests, you get an item called the golden fishing rod. Also you'll eventually find better bait in crates that you fish up.

four facts:1 you can make a money farm by making two triangles and leaving a space in-between, then putting lava in the gap ( make sure the triangles are big enough to were mobs cant jump out) , finally dig under it and just sit there :2 those soul keys can turn into special mimics if you make a chest and put the soul key in there 3: in the jungle you can find life fruit and upgrade your health again: you can build houses in other areas and build pylons so you can teleport there from another pylon( you can only have one per biome). ps optic staff is pretty bad.

New sub here, angel/demon wings are the worst wing options in hardmode. Since you defeated the Destroyer, you can either buy the jetpack from the Steampunker, or start farming Red Devils in hell for the Fire Feather to get Flame Wings. As with every other craftable set of wings, Flame Wings need 20 souls of flight. Flame Wings are the better option, but they require grinding.
btw, the steampunker spawns in after 1 mech boss has been defeated, so you could just build a new house

You should make honey pool in your arena. Honey give buff if you swim in it, buff gives VERY FAST regeneration

You can get better wings. They are crafting with 20 souls of flight and 1 big feather (big feather drops from harpies)

Advice if you want to make it easyer like go buy the hard mod shotgun and upgrade it using two dark shard's it will destroy the twins and skeletoron or farm the goblin army for the dark dager or ice cave for great loot and try to find chest monster's to get great look like grant glove and prepare your self (with the right ammo and situp)

You should try to stick to a single class now that you are getting settled into hard mode (melee, magic, ranger, summon) and craft armor that specifically buffs your class. A very easy class for a beginner like yourself would probably be melee, but its pretty much personal preference (melee has most defense). Also you should try to set up a pylon network (move npcs to biomes that they enjoy living in) npcs will sell pylons when there are atleast 2 npcs that like the biome that you have them living in. Your npcs will have cheaper products, sell more items (including the pylon) the pylons will allow you to teleport from biome to biome making your travels take much less time.
Also there are accessories that will Buff your specific class.

I feel like I'm kinda accidentally going down a melee route anyways haha, but I'll have to look out for more things to buff it and make me stronger. Since, you beat the Destroyer, you should craft a mechanical skull to summon the next boss. After beating it, craft a mechanical eye to fight the Twins. If you beat them, create the Pickaxe Axe, or the Drax with the loot you got from the bosses. Then go to the underground jungle and mine some chlorophyte ore. (it's green) Make some chlorophyte armor or bullets because they are pretty good. Also, Forth Comment!! 😎🕶😎

Hey as of right now I finished expert mod and playing with master mod terraria I'm doing a lot of other activities like collating every armor in terraria ( 4 classes) and collating 14 swords for zenith try Just wanted to say expand the game and learn new stuff like secret seed and make your own changes with followers to make it more fun and Maybe mods in the future so yeah good luck mate
