Hekate is actually much better than Atlas for most matchups. Her myth unit (Lampades) is miles better than that of Atlas and the tartarus gate god power can wreck undefended enemy bases pretty quickly if all the spawns are able to exit the gate. Just don't use that god power for defense by the way since the tartarus spawns are hostile to everyone and may just attack you instead of the enemy.
@@RocketRaccoonIzHot I disagree. Argus is just bad, even worse from the original now since they've removed its instakill ability. good players can kite and move away when the Argus uses its ability now, making it useless.
So the Tartarian Gate ability is actually pretty lit. The beasts it spawns are hostile to all but the gate never stops spawning them until it is destroyed. So dropping it in the middle of an army will get it killed fast, but if you drop it in someone's base while their army is away it'll do work.
Don't forget the power of Lush as Gaia! I think it would be great for chokepoints like KOTH to build 1 or 2 economy buildings just to heal your unitys outside (or even inside) of combat, on top of all the other benefits you can upgrade it with. Edit: If I recall correctly, Lush even repairs buildings so it would be even better to support both your troops AND keeps Edit 2: You mentioned everything yourself in the post game analysis, honestly great to see that you notice improvement points during hectic gameplay
Those trees are hilarious. But yeah, lush spreading and keeping on top of the relics (they can make a massive difference) are big. I'm not too sure the hero vills are worth it though. I think it's 10% gather rate? So not bad, but tough to say.
Gotta love seeing the Lampades casting chaos and turning human soldiers into chickens. While Hekates God Power isn't the best her myth upgrades are amazing!
1 thing you could have done was make 1 economic guild in the middle to heal all your buildings and troops with 15 percent movement speed on titan and healing titan as well on the Hill. Also use more of your healing troop from your temple.
Did you see the Spiffing Brit video on how to use Gaia to build infinite Automatons beyond your army limit? Bit cheeky but might be fun to spring on a friend in a casual game
Been loving gaia recently, I found the super trees let you get farms in quicker. Worth hitting the trees quick. Great to see you play AoM, you always teach me interesting things whenever you play anything!
i was so excited to see you pick hekate only for you to place her gates of tartarus where they had the most units there to destroy it before it really did anything lol. like the spider nest it needs time to activate to be good. Its for sure better than Atlas as it does spawn free myth units but Atlas is probably better for your play style.
Love these ffas. You said youre not strongest with Greeks so If you want to try something off meta for Greeks try Hades. With ares apolo and Artemis for giga chad ranged army. You get to underworld passage into enemy bases use earthquake and pestilence to shut down enemies bases. Love to see someone with better micro than me give it a go.
Score probably works like aoe2. Destroying buildings, killing units, losing units could permanently deflate/inflate score and not represent their power.
Hello Turin, Would you consider trying a Tiny map in FFA? It's a very small map with no eco. You don't have a lot of space and you have infinite ressources minus favor. It could be funny to watch I think because it's pure chaos.
There is a forest fire ability for Norse but nobody had it. I guess Loki could have awakened some of those trees but it might not have created a path through.
Loved the unholy scheme but the execution could've been better 😄 The first tree-wall was more pointing towarrd your own base.

It really depends on, what u want. I love them both but i go atlas for the upgrades mostly. Argus are decent frontline too (under rated unit honestly)

Never played this game but love watching the chaos of the FFA!

Good to know!
Yeah Turin droped it in the middle of his own base and I was like no, why, don't do that.
The one llama who's entire life is now walking into that barracks (26:40 you can see him) lmao

Turin walling himself off from the objective is truly a 4D move.
Man that was an awesome game, the defense against Uravity and Sorona at the end was awesome to watch.
39:40 "Do I have a way of healing"
Well, Gaia lush go brr and heals 1 hp per second
Forest off and gates on the over side stopping the chopping down treea does work
Sick, loving the AoM replays
Keep the content rolling!!!!

Hecate is such a great choice for micromanagement gods.
a couple of citizens cut through any wood wall in no time sadly^^
Turin prolly you already know this but aparently the most op hero unit is the fat guy with the multishot ballista
Hello Turin,
Would you consider trying a Tiny map in FFA?

Cant you force target artillery to clear trees? Or is that just aoe2
There doesn't appear to be an "attack ground" option yet for catapults etc
There is a forest fire ability for Norse but nobody had it. I guess Loki could have awakened some of those trees but it might not have created a path through.
AOE 1, Aoe2 and incidentally AoeIII if the artillery bullets lands on trees after a volley. AoM doesn't have that feature.
Those late night ffa numbers
Great game, great Casting, excellent fun
Turin! Its pronounced "SAI-FUN"
